Oh that does make sense lol. I hadn't even thought of that. I'm not in a relationship, so I guess that's why the thought hadn't occured to me.

Ahaha! I love it! Feel free to add me if you'd like :)

I'm not technically a vegetarian, but I am a very picky eater, and therefore I essentially don't eat meat. I spent my first few months on mfp trying to reach my protein requirements. When I realized that I was practically inhaling hummus and almond butter, I realized that I just couldn't get enough protein with the food I…

Personally I know I'm going to look terrible by the time I'm on my way out anyway, so I see no point in trying to make myself look nice. Also I know that my clothes is going to be sweaty and smelly by the time I'm on my way out, so I don't really care how nice it is to begin with. I definitely don't judge girls that do…

I say "muscle weighes more than fat" alllll the time. I don't like that people pick at that. Obviously when you say that, and you're talking about on a specific person's body, the "per a unit of volume" is kind of implied. No one would ever actually think that a pound of muscle is more than a pound of fat. If you had a…

If you don't exercise at all, there's a good chance that what the weight that you're losing is muscle and not fat, and who wants that! However hopping on a treadmill a couple of times a week sounds like exercise to me. So I wouldn't worry too much about it. The majority of weight loss comes from fixing your everyday eating…

20 years old here. Feel free to add me. That goes to anyone, I'm not picky with my friend requests at all :)

The thing is that I get the idea of taking the day off to let your body recover, but I don't actually feel sick, if that makes sense. My sinuses and airways and such are really messed up, so I'm not breathing at full function, but other than that, I feel perfectly fine. No aches, no pain, no fatigue. So I really want to go…

Don't forget that mpf is generally also set up for you to eat back your calories. So once you add in your exercise your allowed calories will go up.

I know it's the obvious answer... but Ryan Gosling

Don't forget that it is harder for some people to lose weight than others. Some people have medical problems (thyroid issues or something of the sort), and some are on meds that make them gain weight. Also, while metabolism generally gets better with a healthy eating schedule and exercise, some people really do just have a…

*sigh* why can't we all just use metric...

Personally I keep mine private. Mostly because my food diary on mfp is very rarely accurate. I do most of my calorie counting in my head. I've been counting calories for years, so I can do it relatively accurately in my head. The reason that i started using mfp is because I'd sometimes forget about certain foods I had…

I don't judge people's pictures based on their weight - we're all here to fix our lifestyles anyway. I find that I can't help but judge the guys who have pictures of themselves flexing topless in front of a mirror. I know that everyone with success stories on MFP uses some sort of picture to show of their body (and I'm…

I agree. I still drop words in very frustrating situations, but I've definitely cleaned up my language a bit. I went through a bit of a swearing stage a couple of years back (probably less than most people do, but I come from a house without swearing), and my mom use to always say that it made me sound uncivilized. At the…

I'll be happy once I get down to my 165, but 140 lbs is my ideal weight. I haven't been there since I was 12-ish though, so I'm not sure how realistic that is.

^^This!! Chriopractors are not actual doctors. Anything recommended by them should always always always be confirmed by an actual trained MD.

Before you go to take your nap, try doing jupming jacks for a minute or two, or doing a few push-ups. I'm terrible at getting enough sleep (I just don't have time in my life right now to get 8 hours), so when I find that it's 3:00-ish and I'm starting to drift off, I usually do literally about 3 or 4 minutes of exercise…

^^I love the idea of getting something that'll help with maintaining the loss. I'm thinking maybe a new pair of roller blades might do the trick. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!! Definitely some good ones to consider! :)
