I tried to take your advice and have a rest day but couldn't do it, so I just did weights at the gym and took it relatively easy so that today I will be ready for a good burn. I'm only logging extra exercise, and my walks to work every day which I do as part of my exercise routine. Oh and gardening as thats not something I do every day.

OK so the mini challenge is..... that the person with the lowest total amount of calories burned this week will have to perform a FORFEIT... the calories will be counted for Monday 04/07 thru Sunday 10/07... the forfeit will be announced on Monday 11/07 Good luck and happy rowing!! :)

Thats exactly how I started... I took my speed down to 7.0 and started with trying to run 0.5 mile then walk 1 mile at 6.0... I've gradually built it up so that now I can run a full mile without stopping, walk 0.5 mile, and alternate that. I've gradually increased my walking speed to 6.4 and my running speed to 7.5....…

I'm going for a big start, because I have 2 hours of karate training tonight which is about 1600 calories. Tomorrow morning I will go to the gym, but its my day for weights, so what do we enter for calories burned??? I notice that if we enter that in to the strength training it doesn't give you any cals burned...
