I did day 2 today and feel exactly the same way. It's getting easier already and my arms are less sore! I can't believe I did a total of 34 pushups!

HIIT totally works and burns fat. It worked very well for me in the past. Right now I'm doing regular walk/jog intervals to build myself back up gradually to be able to do HIIT. Did it 3x a week and saw a big difference in actually fat loss versus "weight loss". Did all out sprints (as fast as I could go) for 30 seconds…

I wear a HRM, which has my age, weight, sex profile saved to it. But I don't have the chest strap, so I shave about 100 cals off what it tells me. Tonight I did a crazy Zumba class (CRAAAZY!! I thought the instructor was on something-- but I love her!) and it said I burned 1057 in 56 mins. That honestly seemed reasonable,…

Last time, I did the girly version, but this time I'm doing the traditional "male" pushups. My test out was 7.

I'll join. Started this same routine before, but didn't carry it all the way out. I think I got to 15..

This was funny! This forum is called "Chit-chat, fun, games"!!!! So those of you who aren't in the mood for "Chit-chat, FUN, and games" should probably lighten up or get lost.

Right now I'm really into my COLLAR BONE.

I sometimes get a little insecure, which we all know has the potential to affect the relationship, but its been minimal. My husband is in really good shape as well, and I'll just be really happy when I get to the point where there's no doubt he looks at my body in the same way I look at his thinking "Damn, I'm so lucky"...

I don't like to think of it as eating the exercise calories back. I just see it as being able to eat more, the more I exercise. Many people don't consider their BMR, which is the calories you already burn just by doing nothing. So mine is about 1668. If I exercise and burn 300 more calories, my total burned comes to 1968.…

I wanna play! Cute face dandrews!

I do send sweet text messages and when we were dating I would hide notes in his wallet. But this brings up something I've been struggling with. He doesn't eat a very good breakfast in the morning and forgets to pack his lunch. I'd like to help with that, but he leaves the house between 5:15-5:30am. I'm not a morning person…

I'm Tiffany. Married for 9 years to my soul-mate (they do exist) and best guy friend ever! I call him "hubbybuddy" and he makes me laugh and smile every single day! Well, at least 6 out of 7 days. We have a set of twin girls (also 9 yrs) and the four of us have a blast together as a really tight unit. My goal as a wife is…

Keeping the household organized. I do ok, but its a daily struggle.

Fantastic job! And cute clothes ;)

You look gorgeous in both pics, but the definition from your weightloss is amazing! Great job!!

I log it as aerobic dance.

Disagree. Many women have probably tried a fad diet at some point, but I don't like the generalization that ALL women ignore the dangers.

Hi Paula! I just got back on track as well. I'm a 31 yr old wife, mother of twins, hold a full time job, and am also a MBA grad student on top of all that! I'm taking things slow and steady this time instead of burning myself out as usual. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I'd also like to have my ultimate goal met…

Hi there! Congratulations on your progress so far and good luck in continuing your journey. The hardest thing for me has been to STICK WITH IT! So its nice that you're reaching out for support. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like!

Add me! This definitely sounds familiar. I'm a wife and full-time working mom of nine year old twin girls. I'm starting over as of today and have decided to try and reach out for support from like minded individuals as well. One thing I can tell you that helped me lose weight in the past under a busy schedule is to PLAN.…

It's easier said than done, but I suggest distracting yourself from the chaos by focusing in on the things you can control (like sticking to your fitness/weightloss plan). Try to remember that the craziness will pass and once it does, you don't want to have completely ruined all your progress. You can come out of it a…

You really should be eating more than 1200 calories a day, especially if you work out. And you should definitely never go under 1200. Up your calories and you should see a difference.

If you don't eat enough calories, your body can eventually go into starvation mode where its holding on to as much fat as possible to use for energy. You might initially drop weight, but after a while, your body may come to a point where the weight loss slows or even comes to a stop. It will be very hard to lose/burn…
