  • I think a lot of us are in the same position. My husband does not workout but in some ways does support my 5K races and will sometimes hangout while I do a run/walk. I want to get to the gym but that hasn't worked out - so trying to take the dog for a walk works but now the days are getting shorter and he worries when it…

  • Good morning - I started to lose weight when our office relocated to a business section. At lunch time I went out and started walking. A couple of other ladies were out doing the same thing and told me once around the circle is a mile. I thought if I could do one lap I should be able to do 2 - I got up to 3 laps and then…
  • I'm not sure I'm posting right but for women ages 50+ I have a question - I've been on my weight loss journey for a year now. I'm at a good weight and I use my lunch hour to work out. I started off walking and then got into jogging. I've done a couple of 5K's and I ran a half marathon in March. I've realized with my weight…
  • I like oatmeal - if it is the texture you can add more water/milk to make it creamer. I also add blueberries sometimes and cut up apples. If you don't like it that much then maybel look at something else. Oatmeal is an easy fix for a weekeday breakfast but there are other options too.

  • First of all great for you to be 124...I too am 5' 2 and would love to be 124 but I think at my age I'd be happy if I could get down to 127..... I am struggling big time and I'm sure I am older too which plays a factor. I've thought about the cheat meal and it just doesn't work for me... I need to stay away from certain…
  • Good morning to all, I am 56 and I am struggling with weight loss and exercise. I was active a few years ago and just loved walking/jogging and going to gym even though in the begining I didn't think I'd ever see resluts. WOW... I was happy etc.then one day I stopped and it has been a struggle ever since. I really could…
  • What are deadlifts?
  • Lunches are so hard. I go home every day for lunch so you would think it would be easy. I get home and I can't make up my mind.... I have a few Weight Watchers frozen entree's but then I get tuna fish in water.... I also have salad fixings but a salad is never as good as from a restaurant. Now that it is not as hot as it…

  • I have been doing pretty good, but tonight is shag on the river so I may have to have tomorrows wine tonight. Then spend more time at the gym...
  • I don't think the calorie count is bad but sodium and carbs are a lot. I don't do Taco Bell so I don't have a second choice for you. Good luck.
  • We are thinking of going to "shag on the river" my husband will get fried chicken to take but is sweet enough he also gets grilled chicken for me... then I dance the calories away....
  • I to really need all the support I can get.

  • I don't watch him on a regular basis but I think he has some good advice. There are times when I do think he goes to the extreme but all in all he has my vote.
