That's a great NSV! I figured it was going to be a post about avoiding sample carts, lol.

The Kit-Kats in the Halloween bucket have been staring me down.

Wearing a skirt I found in my dresser that I forgot I had!

I see you're in Bellevue - FYI, the Bellevue Hot Yoga studio is the worst (not terrible, just my least favorite location). The room is so small and there's always more people than the other studios so it gets waaaay hot in there. Plus, if you don't get to a class really early, all the spots by the doors or in the middle of…

Yes, I agree about the capri pants and tank top. Also, wear items that are form fitted, otherwise baggy clothes will stick to you in weird places after you start to sweat and you'll feel the need to pull at them and fidget - which you're not supposed to do. Drink lots of water today and tomorrow and don't eat at least 2-3…

FYI, they're having a big fashion extravaganza (with Stacey from What Not To Wear) that day. I don't know if it'll be over by then but keep in mind it might be extra, extra busy that day. Not that it isn't a nightmare to begin with on a regular Saturday!

I am also considering a tattoo.

I started weighing on Fridays only because that was the day I was usually at my boyfriend's place and could weigh myself on his scale. Mine was broken but decided to start working again, but I still stick with Fridays. My best friend weighs herself everyday; I couldn't do that , it would drive me crazy!

To Snoopy72: No, everyone sweats like a pig in a 105 degree room! The only thing that bothers me is when the sweat gets in my eyes but that's why you have a towel. If you're doing it correctly and focusing your gaze, you'll learn to ignore the sweat.

I do the hot yoga, though I only use the regular yoga calculations for my diary (only because hot yoga wasn't in the database when I started and I guess I haven't looked recently). I wore my heart-rate monitor watch (from Walmart) once for a vinyasa/power class and it only said I burned like 90 calories, which I highly…

I say wear the pink top with the black bottom and then you can mix and match your wraps.

I have waaay too many to list. Rod Stewart is always great and so is Hanson. As for local bands, look up Hot Bodies In Motion and Handful of Lovin' (both from Seattle) - awesome performers!

If you're cutting costs and don't want to buy dvds, go to YouTube. I'm sure it would be a great resource for exercise ideas.

They sell it at the place where I do yoga. I've never tried it but I'll be interested in hearing other's responses.

Welcome from Auburn, WA! MFP is a great tool, you'll love it!

I love Harry & David dark chocolate truffles (a slight part of the reason why I'm trying to loose weight is because I worked there for five years and we sampled them all the time!). I've been a chocolate snob every since trying them. Won't even touch See's any longer, blech! :-)

The only thing I've given up completely is pop. Everything else I just do in moderation.

I chew sugarfree Orbit gum. I don't see anything wrong with it and it's less than five calories a piece so I don't count it.

I haven't had Velvetta in years! I always remember my grandma having it around. I should buy some...

I'm sure he'll be changing his tune when he realizes you're even hotter than you were before and he won't be able to keep his hands off you!

I've always heard people say to eat something small (like a granola bar) because it jump starts your metabolism and helps you burn more calories throughout the day.
-
Bump I also have a cook book that's Fix-It and Forget-It Lightly that has some good, low-cal recipes. I bought it at Tuesday Mornings for $6, can't beat that!

You're welcome. :-)

I wish that would happen to me! I've given up pop several times in my life and always find my way back to it. The hardest is during the summer when it's so warm out and all I want is a cup full of ice and Coke. Luckily, I'm thankful that it's still cool here in the NW and I'm not having that problem so far.

Sorry, off topic but are you still looking for donations? I did it the last two years and I know what a hassle fundraising can be.

I just got a pair and love them. Mind you, I walk more and would probably prefer more support if I was a runner. My issue is that I've tried everything to prevent blisters (gels, lotions, toe caps, tape, different socks and shoes, etc.) so they're there only thing that works. I recommend going to a sporting goods store to…

My friend is doing the same thing and I'm considering starting it next week. You can download her playlists here: http://tigzy.com/C25K and here's the listing of the songs: Week 1: En Vogue - My Lovin (You're Never Gonna Get It) Salt N Pepa - Push It Lita Ford - Kiss Me Deadly Britney Spears - My Perogative Miley Cyrus -…
