My boyfriend and I are starting tomorrow. Me because I like yoga, him because he likes wrestling. Relationships are about compromise, right? :-D

Sore muscles from walking this weekend and wanting to do it again tonight and loose size 14 pants!

Well, I'm probably in the same boat since I don't know how much I've gained back. So twenty pounds is probably only five away from what my lowest weight was on MFP. I told myself I wouldn't weight in until after my birthday so we'll see the ugly truth come Saturday.

What a great attitude to have, congrats!

Maybe add more potassium to your post workout snack. I've heard it helps repair muscles after strenuous exercise. Bananas or coconut water are my favorites.

When my hair was super long I used to wear it in a bun with a chopstick. I would take it and twist it around the chopstick about halfway down and then into a bun and put the chopstick through. I had it down to an art. It wouldn't move and if my hair was wet in the morning, it would still be wet when I took the bun out.…

Yes. I have to, otherwise I'll pass out.

Might make this tonight!

Such an inspiration! You're beautiful and have a rockin' bod! I have got to start lifting, lol. Ps. Love your style. That pink with the black and white bed set is gorgeous. :-)

Bump. Interesting equation. I'll have to try that next time I go for a run to see how accurate my HRM is. Thanks!

I've been repeating week two for forever because I was super scared of the three minute runs but I finally sucked it up and did it yesterday. I thought it was 90 seconds of running, 90 seconds of walking, and repeat and THEN three minute runs (not knowing it alternated between the 90 second runs and the three minute runs).…

I just had a friend post this to Facebook. Very interesting! I'm glad I love fruits and veggies but it is a struggle for me to stay away from processed foods.

I just found out about it yesterday and it sounds like a really fun idea! The Seattle/Portland one is August 4th. Of course, I'm already busy that weekend. Otherwise, I would have seriously considered it (pending I've never done any races before). Oh well, there's always next year. That'll give me time to build up my upper…

Omg, that is a great accomplishment! I'm still working on it. ;-)

I think plateaus are mostly mental. I only stopped losing weight because I quit exercising regularly when I started working 8-5. As long as you're committed to the lifestyle and have a workout that you enjoy doing on a daily basis, it's nothing to worry about.

Gender: Female Age: 26 Height: 5'3" SW: 190 CW: 161 GW: 120 I've reached a plateau and am looking for more motivation to work past it! I just want my ticker to say '30 pounds lost' already.

My friend is cooking me dinner. I'm not sure what to expect but I'm looking forward to it. I might not be counting calories tomorrow!

Congratulations, what an accomplishment! A handsome British lawyer, too bad you're so far away. ;-)

You are awesome!! I only hope I can get to that point some day. Do you like your HRM? I just got the same one but haven't used it yet.

I've been doing it in my Vibrams also because I get blisters immediately when I wear regular shoes (and have tired everything to prevent them, to no avail). I use my treadmill so I think it would mainly depend on the terrain that you're running on. I notice I tend to run more on my tippy toes but it prevents the pain from…

I normally thaw them, salt & pepper it (maybe throw in some seasoning like lemon pepper or cajun spice, whatever you're in the mood for), and broil them for about three minutes per side. I love them because it's a nice portion size, they thaw quickly, and it's a tasty meal for not a lot of work. I always have some in my…

What a smokin' hot couple! Congrats!

I started last week also. Last night was W2D1, which was doable but still hard. I have to focus on my breathing, otherwise I get that damn distracting side pain. It's hard to stay focused when all I'm staring at is the door in front of my treadmill. I noticed my calves and thighs were sore last week and today, it's mainly…

Yeah, they mandated that in the county where I live for any restaurant a few years back. How many of the places I go actually have any clue what I'm talking about when I ask for nutritional information? Maybe 1 in 10.
