Nothing to add really except I have just done this, had my 3rd, the other 2 are 2 and 4 and I still put on 30lbs even though I did my best. The last month was my downfall. Up till then I just eat Paleo/Primal without treats or excess but probably a little over maintenance and didn't gain too much. The ltr of ice cream or a…

Ditto. Although I got to stage 5 and then got pregnant but had already looked at moving on which I did for about 4 months. Starting strength which was awesome, really simple and great results but I wasn't pushing it too much. I am 37weeks and cant wait to get back to it!

Beeps - I love you and your arms are awesome! xx I'll be back at it in a few months. Just a couple weeks left then no.3 arrives. Can't wait.

Are there any other signs you are in Ketosis? I think I have the weird pee smelling thing and am pretty low carb, although I don't track at the moment.

Funnily enough I haven't kept up as much as I would have liked but I was at a festival in town the other day (oh and I am 36wks pregnant with no.3) and there was a mock highland games and they had kettle bell Over head presses and the competition was to see who could do the most reps. Different weights for both men and…

My problem is one of the members of my household isn't family - an au pair. and she can't live without potatoes. Crazy as this sounds she has been with us for nigh on 3 months and I have had to give her notice as I just can't keep buying her the junk I so desperately want out of my own house. I occationally cook rice for…

Thanks Runningjen, good ideas there. I've given her a cupboard but I think my planning kinder lunches and doing more prep for them is probably required. I will make a start on that this week. What's that line? - fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Wow Beeps you look so Fab. I miss you guys on the NROLW but will get back to it after muffin makes an appearance in Oct. Unfortunately tried to carry on but since I have crutches just to get across the gym to get to the weights it really aint happening just now! So in awe of you . Keep it up xx

I think I have - been primal since Jan but slipping off the wagon re sugar lately. Not great but no dramatic side affects, but the moment I have any wheat now I imediately feel bloated and have tummy cramps. I have never experiences gluten intolerance before and would have pasta at least once a week. Now it is totally out…

I don't have an excuse. I have lots of help and at the moment make the most of every minute in bed but I just don't want to go to bed before my husband which is what happens if I go to bed earlier. When he is away I struggle to sleep as we have a routine of his reading to me in bed and I get used to falling asleep to this…

133 today but have done heavier. Today was 3 sets of 5.

Good luck, I did it in Jan and it was fab. I really should do another was thinking that just yesterday as I need to get on top of this dreadful sugar habit I seem to be developing. I'm a tea drinker too and had to switch to fruit teas and coffee with coconut milk as I can't do black tea. I'm feeling a bit stressed at the…

Well done for being so active. I try to stick to a primal diet but a few weeks back I fell off the wagon for a weekend and put on 3 kg in one week. Crazy. Lost 1.5 kg almost straight away went I sorted my diet out but that was me then 13lbs gain at 18 weeks and like you I want to keep that low. Now my back/hips are playing…

All I can say is WOW you are my hero! x

Paleo/Primal diet works for me. And plenty of exercise. Definitely don't need drugs. I did a lot of research on this for a uni course I was doing and in Holland they had found diet and exercise are MORE effective than metformin. Good luck.

I fell off the wagon this weekend and have been regretting it. Sore tum last night like you would not believe. I never thought I actually had adverse effects from my previous diet, I just knew b/c of the PCOS that i had to change it. But clearly I have an instant reaction to it now. Plus I put on like a kg in 2 days/ Not…

Hi you can add me if you like but I don't log all the time. I tend to over eat when I log. Ironic I know but I am much better when I don't obsess over food. Primal, preggers and lift 3-4 x a week. Also have/had PCOS but manage it through diet. No dairy when I'm not preggers tho.

I have gone primal for the whole family including our au pair after a strictvwholev30 which we all did together too. I have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and no three arrives in October! I cook every night and we all always eat as a family so they get what we get **** bust. If they eat it great if not no pudding (fruit)…

I had this problem this weekend. I was staying with friends and even when I said I don't eat wheat the menu was croissant for breakfast, risotto for lunch and couscous for dinner. I felt awful going to bed and 3 days later still don't feel "right". I have as far as I know no known intolerances so its tricky for me to be…

Hi Sally wow you really have your hands full! How far along are you?

Aloemilk great to hear from you. Good luck with keeping the dreaded diabetes at bay. Scsooze nice to meet you and have fun with the getting pregnant bit! I really have popped out with this one. 3s the charm!

There is a lot of research out there that suggests that diet and exercise can be more effective than metformin so before jumping on any drugs you might be offered definitely try to treat it with diet and exercise first. I have PCOS and also have two delicious kids and one on the way. 9 months before we tried to conceive…
