I guess by regularly I should say that I eat every 2-3 hours now.

I haven't binged since started eating regularly....I used to make your binges look like an appetizer though. I would eat cereal for breakfast, have a skinny latte for lunch, come home STARVED sometimes after the gym sometimes after the publix baker and would devour everything..dinner, dessert, and dessert again. I've…

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!! I try to surround myself with positive people, but hey life teaches ya that there will always be those that have "issues". :)

Thanks Chad!!!!!!! It is so weird to me!!!! I don't get why people feel that we care about their opinion that much. It seems to be relatively squashed for the time being..I think me pointing out to her that she has been asking every single week..kinda pushed her back a bit. I'm sure it will come up again, but no big…

Exactly! I actually have a pretty clean bill of health with my last doctor appointment where I had a full physical done before I started the lifestyle change of eating better for me foods and moving more. My skinny husband....is going in next week to get chastised for his high Cholesterol. He has been eater better lately,…

Thanks ladies! I'm definitely not gonna let her stop me in my tracks. She is naturally slim, eats cheeseburgers, pot roast with mashed potatos frequently, and is pretty old school. She has never had to struggle with weight loss so for her its an easy formula. She also doesnt exercise so she thinks that is kinda overrated.…

I seriously btw...am not a person that complains a lot. Just frustrated, figured I'd vent, and move on. :) I know that in life difficult people are everywhere so I do take this as learning experience.

We fell off the wagon... :( WE ARE BACK THOUGH! We are gonna start back at week 1..changed the days we are going to do it because MWF is too hectic for us with other exercise routines. AND definitely we left on week 3...it made a huge difference. When I first started I couldn't do any regular pushups...now I CAN!!!!…

If you can dream it you can do it ~ Walt Disney. Plan on getting that and the 13.1 as a tattoo after I run the disney half marathon. Also Mae West "Cultivate your curves, they may be dangerous, but they won't be avoided"

hahahaha! At AlicelsRunnin I heart Rosie the Riveter and she has become my go to gal to remind me that words are powerful because thoughts are powerful...to get my body where I want to be...I have to say and belive I CAN DO IT!!!! :)

Thats what I was taught also...barring vitamin intake that your urine should be clear to a pale yellow.

hahaha! If us chicas can get away with being testy once a month I'm pretty sure that its okay for the boys to take the once a year thing. I can say I appreciate sooo many of your posts and they really do help me! Thank you!!!!!

I scoured the discussion boards for plateaus (sp?) and was told that a true plateau is if you are at the same weight for 6 weeks with no movement. I was also told to zigzag my calories but have only been trying it for a week and I've been doing the 1300 for a week and then this week going up to 1400-1500. I am also…

Starting week 8 tomorrow and I have fallen madly in love with running! Its a fantastic program. DO IT!!!! Don't even think about it...literally just take the plunge. I heard about it on a Thursday, downloaded the podcasts that night, started the next day. I have followed the program to the "t", not skipping any steps..or…

slow cooker is my bff!!!!!!!! I've made apple butter in there, whole chickens, then the next day chicken soup, blackbean turkey chili, etc. I just don't really have recipes. I pull one online and then tailor it to my tastes. www.skinnytaste.com and www.skinnyms.com both have great slow cooker recipes.

You were beautiful then...now you are STUNNING!!! And inspirational and gorgeous and I bet you feel like a million bucks!!!!

Week 7 just finished and I have NEVER enjoyed any kind of physical activity more in my life. I have always been moderately active, but the changes I have seen in my body, will, spirit with this program, all I can say is that I am madly in love with running now. ITs a fantastic program. I love that it eases you into it.…

Much better job of describing it than I did!!!!!!! I always was a bad teacher, not good at giving (or following) directions either. . haha!!!!! :)

The way I understand it is that its calories consumed then subtracts calories expended and that is your net calorie. I think its a tool that people that eat more on a weekly basis versus daily calorie goal utilize.

I had Mirena and no children...it hurt like insanely tons!!!!!! I literally was like a cat trying to claw my way out of the office. It was great in that I didn't have the hormonal side effects of birth control, but I cramped and bled the whole first month. I ended up having to go on birth control pills to stabilize the…

Also its basically a calorie thing...there are people that use them to gain weight. Cause if you make a shake loaded with juices and fruit or peanut butter and chocolate you are gonna go over your calories. I use unsweetened vanilla milk or fresh oj diluted with water.

I use them, but kind of in moderation. At work during the workweek. I can have some days where we have plenty of time for me to eat a real meal and other times we get so busy that I had to skip lunches and then was ravenous come dinner time and I would overeat. On weekends I generally eat "real" food. Its more of a time…

I use it. Love it! I work at a busy doctors office and was skipping lunch a lot because I would get busy or worse eat a ginormous cookie and coffee. This helps give me something quick I can grab that is filling and healthy. I love that it offers variety as I easily get bored. I have made well over 30 different flavors. I…

New runner also. My goal is 5k in Feb. That shouldn't be a problem, next one is 8k in April, 10k in August, and yes a half marathon Food and Wine Disney in November. I figure if I don't have these goals I'll lose focus. I need concrete black and white goals and plans to follow thru!
-
I am now going to google Rosie Riveter workout gear!!!!!! Where did you buy yours? LOVE that! I cycle on my rest days from running so I would love to "treat" myself to a cycling jersey if I meet my goals for January.

I just read about the iron supplement yesterday in womens health beginners running tips. I was anemic in the past and I have noticed I'm not meeting iron requirements so this makes complete sense. Also yes....more carbs. I noticed on nights before my big(ger since I'm still new at this) runs if I have a low carb dinner…
