I was doing it, using 3 lb weights but struggled with the impact on my knees right now. I loved it, cannot wait to get back to it but I have to find a way to sub something in for jumping jacks. Hang in there!

That is an awesome feeling! Way to go!

From one Mommy to another - awesome NSV!!!

You can do it! Drink lots of water, if you do have some food make them small portions and know that tomorrow is a new day no matter what happens today! Good luck.

I have the UFC trainer game and while I haven't tried the full workouts on there yet I have gone through some of the quick activities and LOVED it. I have hurt the next day - the good got a workout hurt. I wasn't super impressed with the fitness test because it had a hard time recognizing my movements but overall I think I…

What a sweet son!

studying for my series 7 exam. My boss asks me about it at least once a week and I have to say I haven't started yet. Which is SO annoying to get "the look" of disappointment. Ugh, just typing it out has made me annoyed, lol.

I think the photography idea is a great one - I happen to be a huge picture freak so I would LOVE something like that.

I wasn't super impressed with the fitness test part but that is mainly because I am so out of shape that it was NOT registering my movements correctly. Once I get that in check I think I will be in love!! My kinect is the best thing my sister ever bought for my daughter, lol. Her birthday gift has worked out so well for my…

So sorry to hear of your friend's loss and thanks for the reminders. May you find peace with yourself today.

Use the site - that is the best advice I can give. Don't use the expression cheating - it has such a negative meaning to me and can be discouraging. Just know that you have to hold yourself accountable for what goes into your body and what comes out! If you eat something you didn't plan on eating either use activity to…

That is awesome! I am just starting the journey but I am down to my last 14 lbs of baby weight and I cannot wait to see the number on the scale. Keep up the good work so you can rock that wedding dress!!!

It was mostly milk and a little cream, actually very little coffee in it but she is obsessed with the smell now and thinks she is a big girl drinking coffee. I was doing decaf when I was pregnant with her sister so she drank that but yes, my parents are nuts for giving her coffee. Ugh!

Yeah, I can see your point with this one - I have listened to most of the trial while working and I think there are some issues with their evidence BUT I don't know that I could vote non-guilty with the evidence they did present.

GUILTY! While I think she MIGHT not be guilty of first degree murder I absolutely think she killed Caylee by accident and then just hid the situation. My ultimate thought is that she was using the duct tape/chloroform combo to knock her out & keep her in her car while she was in the boyfriend's house overnight and Caylee…

I have suffered from bouts of depression for almost 20 years now. It has become a necessity in my life to be medicated all the time or else the depression gets the better of me. It is more than ok, it is necessary to have grace with yourself during depression. There are few things in life harder than dealing with…

Me too! It makes me really sad because I had a reduction when I was 16 and then gained all my weight and they are bigger now than before :-( Cannot wait to have little boobs again!

So true! The maple & brown sugar one makes my whole hall @ work smell like pancakes.

I LOVE my husband. I appreciate all of the wonderful things he does to support me & our family. He does however say stupid stuff sometimes, as do I. I appreciate having a forum to vent some frustration that would not be productive explaining to my husband at that moment. Sometimes the perspective of hearing other people's…

I could write a book on the stupid things my husband says so I feel you. Good for you for choosing to get up off the couch and go to the gym to ride the bike. You can always take my daughter's tactic and when he starts to say things you don't like or find helpful put your fingers in your ears and say "lalalala". Keep up…

It is totally the taste I like so most of the time I am doing without but when I do want it I want the whole shebang. I only have one cup at a time so maybe the reality of it is I should just use it as a treat, be careful how I prepare it and account for the calories in another way.

funny you say that...I had apples for breakfast this morning :-) I don't think I drink the coffee for the wake up anymore, more because I am addicted to the taste. Trying hard to get over that!
-
What flavored creamers do you use? I drink coffee at work instead of home because my 6 yr old loves to drink coffee (thank my parents for that one) and I don't have time in the mornings for her meltdowns if I don't share the coffee. So I drink it at work where it's both cost & argument free :-) I have been bringing sugar…

I agree! You look fantastic - good job.

I want two when I hit my goal - I want my two daughter's initials entwined with a daisy but not sure where. Then on my wrist I want a small design to symbolize my brother who was killed when I was a teenager. A lot of my weight came from losing him when I was young and eating away my unhappiness - when the weight is gone I…

Awesome challenge - I am in! I had decided I was going to spend June focusing on logging my foods eaten each day, now I am going to add getting activity in during July. This will be an easy beginning for me as I can walk at work on my breaks - maybe I can try walking the stairs!
-
It is actually in the database - walking carrying infant or 15 lb load. I carry my little one up & down stairs several times a day and it all adds up. She is actually closer to 30 lbs so I know what you mean about it being a workout!
-
That is fantastic! My husband refuses to get on board - he is pushing 390 lbs and is decently healthy but eats terribly and it scares me that something would happen to him and I would end up raising two girls alone. I am glad your husband is taking the first step!
