I made a homemade pizza last night, and it had Italian sausage and cheese. It was hearty! I limited myself to one moderately sized piece! My hunger was quite satisfied with that, plus a salad. It really was enough.

This, for flexibility. Gives great suggestions on how far to push yourself. She's a dancer, and it can be intimidating to watch her.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qULTwquOuT4&feature=emb_logo

There was a LOT of wind outdoors, but I didn't give myself that excuse to avoid walking. The temperature was mild and I know these days are numbered, so I powered through!

You've done amazing work!! Just have to say it! :o I am in maintenance, so my "support" may not be what you're looking for.

@ameinhorn If you overly restrict calories on your days "on program", maybe your window of eating on weekends just is your reaction to that. For every big restriction, an equal and opposite binge was a problem for me. When I ate all my calories, the impulse to binge faded.

After football watching, and before dark, I was going to take a walk. Had been eating pizza, and chips, etc. so this was definitely a high calorie event. The weather was a bit cool, but calm. My husband wanted to join me, and we invited our adult son. All of us walked for the better part of an hour!!

I just crossed the 9 month mark of being in my maintenance range, so my goal is to treat myself to something frivolous and fun to wear for Christmas, at my 1 year maintaining anniversary!

Personally, it bothers me that people think they NEED to drink protein shakes.

If you added it all up, usually I try to do 3-4 hours of intentional exercise each week. I am in maintenance.

Hmmmmm......I really enjoy tinkering in the kitchen with food prep, so I would go for more help with cleaning.....starting with de-cluttering. Because, I hesitate to throw things away, but my SO is a pack rat!! How do you feel about those natural grays that more women are sporting? AS for me, if he can go gray, so can I!!!

Oven barbeque-Take the skin off of some chicken parts, back with salt, garlic and pepper for about 35 minutes in a 375 oven. Drain the fat after about a half hour. Flip over, and top with barbeque sauce for about another 10-15 minutes, depending on chicken parts, when the juices run clear. Serve with corn and coleslaw? For…

Maybe you have some hormonal things happening that make it more challenging now? I know that I've been up and down the scale through my adult life, more than once. In maintenance now, but have been eating way too much for the last week. I know I have to avoid "looking back", or I get discouraged, throw my hands up, and say…

Interesting that the original poster seems to have removed their profile.

Just under 5'6" in height. I initially called goal at 152 last December. Then, I continued to lose slowly and maintain around 145. I think that's a good weight for me.

Sometimes, still, certain events trigger my behaviors to "eat my feelings". I am doing that less over time, because I am in maintenance, and my aging body moves/feels so much better at this lower weight. If I can recognize a binge coming on, I tell myself that I don't have to go so overboard, when I do overeat. Used to be…

I use allrecipes for ideas, because it has an "ingredient search" --when I don't want to go to the store. So depending on what your food preferences are, you could build a weekly rotation. Full nutrition is available for each recipe: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipes/84/healthy-recipes/

I cycle with that negative attitude about logging,---but I am in maintenance (just over 6 months, this time), and without logging, I slowly put it back on.... This time, in order to prevent regain, I usually log! Do take a day or two off, here and there. Try to make it kind of a game. Our bodies log it, whether we do or…

Have you consulted with your medical professional? What specific health risk factors require you to "get to a certain number?" Fitness and weight loss should meet a goal that you can reasonably sustain. Don't make yourself nuts with the charts.

Congratulations!! That is an amazing change!

I weigh twice a week, in the a.m. So, I look at what I consider my tentative weight on Wed. and then see where it is on Friday or Saturday morning. It keeps me accountable in maintenance.

Mexican chicken---If you have a slow cooker, put 3 boneless chicken breasts, 1/2- 1 full jar of salsa, cooks on low for the day-- shred if you want and put on tortillas for soft tacos. Or dump over 1/2 c. of black beans for a meal. Similar idea for Italian chicken- 3 boneless chicken breasts, italian sauce, other…

I track in some fashion, sometimes very well, and sometimes a guess......Best guess for me is better, because my brain sort of gives me a free pass to eat too much if I don't log. It IS about self accountability. Trying to maintain a weight loss with an eye to calories this time, no plan to quit altogether.

You have done wonderfully!!! IMHO I don't know if you want to lose anymore. Your shape will just improve as you exercise in maintenance.....

Maybe dinner leftovers, and if there isn't much protein, a greek yogurt. Homemade soup, fruit and half a sandwich. Or some kind of half a pita stuffed with a protein and lots of veggies.
