  • Feel free to add me too :)
  • I haven't been on MFP in months because of a really hectic period in my life. So glad you shared your story though- thank you!! I have struggled with anxiety since I was a child and depression since teenage years. Addiction of all kinds runs in my family, and I firmly believe I'm "addicted" to sugar. It's my go-to when…
  • Yea, unfortunately there is not much doctors can do. It's basically inflammation of the stomach lining and mine is chronic with flare-ups due to either anxiety or poor food choices (alcohol and medications can cause it too).
  • bump :) thanks for sharing!!
  • Hi guys, is it too late to join? I've never done a challenge on here before and would really like to try being as the past couple months haven't been good. The past two months, weights have been anywhere from 139-143. I'll start recording them on a weekly basis like you guys do. CW: 140 GW: 135 with a focus on building…
  • My arms, upper abdomen, and chest (which, I don't have much to begin with!! haha) went first... then a little thighs. Still working on the "pooch" lol
  • I'm lactose intolerant, but don't eat much dairy except lowfat yogurts anyway. I also have IBS & GERD, which means limited fatty foods & acidic foods, and spicy things I just can't eat. Most of the time it's good that I can't eat those things (without consequence anyway lol), but sometimes it limits my nutritional variety.…
  • Just did the video for the first time this morning! I'm on the last week of 30 Day Shred, so I thought it wouldn't be too bad- but it was really tough!! haha Great workout though, I love it :)
  • Thank you all for your suggestions!! We made it home a few days ago and are living with family until we find a place to live. The grapes and carrots were awesome "munching" foods, and I took the advice for fast food stops too- grilled chicken or a light sandwich from subway. I'm happy to report I have maintained my weight…
  • I'm soo happy you asked this question. My sugar is constantly over as well, even if it was only a few whole pieces of fruit! Maybe they're trying to have us balance fruit with vegetables a little better? I'm not sure.. hopefully there will be some helpful answers to come :)
  • My favorite thing to eat pre-workout is fruit because it's sweet and it fills me up just enough to get through the tough parts! I definitely cannnnnot workout after drinking too much water or eating something "soupy"; that swishy feeling in the stomach is awful to be jumping around with, haha. So, that's just one more…
  • I joined this BOB a little late in the game, so I'm still getting used to the rules/challenges- I"m sorry if I'm a little behind! Everyone here is so impressive though with your exercise, weight loss, and support for each other. Definitely looking forward to continuing this "journey" with you guys!! Also, it seems like I'm…
  • I eat salty foods whenever possible because of a heart condition I have that requires me to increase sodium/water daily. Buuut I don't really like the taste of salt, so I don't add it to anything. :) Mostly I just get it from soups and the occassional Smart Balance popcorn
  • Thanks for adding me! Looking forward to talking to you :) Message me anytime
  • Totally in!! It's after 11pm here, but I will do this challenge tomorrow!! Goal: 200 Super Goal: 300  Awesome challenge!
  • It seems like the common themes are... - Plan Ahead (especially if you know the event will have tempting foods). I like the idea of "relocating" the party to a different, less tempting table :) Also, being mentally prepared for the upcoming obstacles at the BBQ is a great idea, in addition to filling up on a fresh fruit…
  • Kr- that makes a lot of sense to wait until the urge passes. Even though every minute may feel like an eternity, it can't last that long, right? I guess occupying the mind and/or body for a ~half hour can make someone forget about the craving all together! Heather- A lot of people have been saying to push the water in an…
  • LOVE this thread- thank you for starting it!! I'm 5'10 and still a little uncomfortable with it...won't wear heels or any shoes that make my feet look bigger than necessary! But, there are positives, too, as many of you have said :) It's funny to see that so many of you have commented about jeans looking like we're…
