  • Wow! A Zumbathon :glasses: What a fun way to burn up heaps of calories.
  • Well done! I've only just started using MFP, I'm loving it too. You'll be at your goal weight before you know it.
  • Week 3 Challenge Underway I've completed 30 minutes on the treadmill today, worked up a good sweat and kept the incline at a minimum of 2. Very happy with that - did 2.1 miles. The real work begins tomorrow - to meet the challenge I'll have to get up early BEFORE I leave for work. I've been promising myself I'd do…
  • Welcome! I'm new here too - just embarking on my third day of tracking calories. That's basically all I initially logged on for - but I'm finding so much more to help me on this site.
  • Have just sent you a friend request. I'm new too.
  • I don't think you're slow  Thanks - I've been wanting to ask that question too. :glasses:
  • Hi everyone  I'm new to MFP and of course new to this challenge. My current weight is 341 pounds - my goal for the 18th November is to lose - and burn for good - 50 pounds. I know this is a lot, but given my current weight, and lots of determination, not impossible. I'm 6" tall so I'm hoping that will mean…
  • I hear you. Friending you now! I'm 6" - and I've been seriously working on losing weight since the beginning of May 2011. I got a shock when I looked back over my stats and realised I had dropped 10 kgs since October last year (about 20 pounds give or take). I hadn't even noticed  Happy to have more tall…
  • I agree - everyone in the class is having fun and moving. Getting all the moves "right" is a bonus. I demanded  my husband buy it for me for Christmas in 2009. And I didn't use it at all until May 2011 when I stumbled into a Curves Zumba Circuit. I couldn't wait to try an actual Zumba class after that. I do a…
  • Woo hoo count me in! I do Zumba classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I also do the Curves Zumba Circuit twice a week. I have the DVDs - will be doing the Toning one tomorrow as Curves is closed because it's a public holiday here in Australia. Missorange - don't have a Wii but have the DVDs - they're…
  • Hi there I'm six foot - and am currently 155kgs - want to get dowb to 77kgs - though 84 would be lovely. So that means we have the height in common - though if I did the conversion correctly I have 172 pounds to lose - eeek! Sending you a friends request now
  • Hi I'm from NSW and new to MFP. Loving it already! Feel free to add me as a friend. Definitely not tropical here today - HAD to do my walk indoors on the treadmill.

  • Feel free to add me as a friend. I've only just joined MFP - but I love how your home page has status updates so you can stay in touch with your friends on here easily and motivate each other.
  • Hi Kylie Good on you for looking forward. Feel free to add me as a friend. Just take one day at a time and you'll achieve your goals. I've just joined this site, and I have no doubt it's going to help me. Leonie

  • Hi Jackie, It really is only a matter of taking one step at a time. Although, before I started the 2010 City2Surf I decided if it got too much at any point I'd just call a cab to take me to the nearest train station  I highly recommend the runkeeper app (I have it on my iPhone) along with great music.
  • Feel free to add me as a friend. Have just joined the site too. Loving it already.
