  • Single, and happy! Would always love new friends on here though. Anyone can feel free to add me! Happy V-Day! :-)
  • Thanks for adding me! We're all in this together. I've found that having a support group on here has helped me TREMENDOUSLY, so get a good group of new friends on here and it'll help keep you motivated along the way. WE CAN DO IT! :-)

  • I'm from Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa! <= Mr. Deeds joke there I'm from Texas, born and raised and never left! Yee haw, everyone! P.S. - we don't really say "yee haw" or ride around on horses with our chaps, cowboy hats, spurs, etc. I prefer my chaps and cowboy hat in my Nissan, thank you very much!
  • I'm totally checking out skinnytaste.com...thanks! I saw that mentioned in another post for general recipe ideas, and didn't get around to checking it out yet. I will now!
  • Thanks...he might like helping me make pizza, so we'll try that for sure! He's not into tomato sauces, unfortunately...going to keep trying! I did find that he likes the fruit cups (packed in water, not juice) are somewhat of a healthy choice for him and he seems to enjoy them. Quick & easy...pre-cubed and all!
  • You know, the fact that you can be honest with yourself and others about your journey to "recovery" (which is what I call mine) just says how serious you are now. Once you can admit to yourself that you need to change, and then are determined to do so...THAT, my friend, is where the change happens. We're on similar paths,…
  • It's stories such as yours that really inspire me! You have done AMAZINGLY well, look fantastic...and I'm sure FEEL fantastic too. Congrats on the progress! :-)
  • We haven't had anyone post yet. I've been looking at my friend's food diaries (the ones that have them open for people to see anyway) which has inspired some food ideas for myself as well. That may work for you too!
  • I'm only doing weight mini-goals so far. I have 75 lbs to lose. Once I lose my first 10 lbs, I'm going to treat myself to new running shoes. Mine are horrible! Each time I reach 10 lbs lost, I'm doing to set up a new reward at that time. And make the 50 lbs mark a BIG one! Good luck!
  • Hey, I need some help in this area too! My 2-year old is picky so I'm having trouble making us the same dinner!
  • Me as well! I can use all the support I can get! Add me my fellow MFP'ers! :-)
  • As a single working mother of a (now) toddler, you are quite an inspiration! I have put myself absolutely last on the priority list for 2 years now, and I'm ready to get back into shape...your pics help me visualize that it's possible! Thanks for sharing.
