Hey There! feel free to add me...I need some motivation/accountability too :) I haven't signed up for any races yet, but a friend is talking me into a 10 here in a few months...

There are a ton of workout DVD's you can do at home that are effective and not near 2 hours. I had a lot of success with the Biggest Loser series (boot camp and cardio max) and also bought some Jillian DVD's that were amazing!

I completely forgot to weigh in this morning, too much going on with first day of school. Hopefully I didn't gain over the weekend. I didn't track to well at all! Back at it today.

Week 3 weigh in 158.7...loss of 2 pds. I am looking forward to the challenge, I haven't worked out near as much and I miss the extra energy. I have to say I made a few poor choices, but overall I am getting a lot better at portion control and making healthier choices.

I completely understand! After my last child I was in the best shape of my life...then I moved. 4 years, 40 lbs later I am on my way to getting my life back.

160.7...only down .2, but that's a lot better than I had expected. Last week was one of the worst weeks I have had in a long time. While my portions were small, I ate a ton of food that I would normally avoid due to fat and sodium. My sodium was through the roof. That, and I believe I only got in about 2 or 3 workouts. I'm…

I've had 2 days that have not been good at all. I started off the week awesome and the had lost a pound by Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday I was at a retreat for work, while I ate smaller portions and tried to pick the healthiest options I was really limited. My husband and I had a heavy dinner with drinks last night. I…

Thanks for the info! I will definitely keep that in mind this week. :) I also changed my settings to lose 1 lb a week vs 2 lbs a week so I hope that helps as well.

Starting weight 162 Today's weight 161 not the best, but I have been lifting more weights and have not been doing as much cardio so I will up the cardio this week.

Getting frustrated. This is the 2nd week where I have worked hard, tracked everything, stayed under my calories but don't see the scale dropping. Two weeks ago I lost 2.5 but now it's barely going down. I still have 25ish to go so I'm not close to my goal. I have lost about 12 lbs since June so maybe this my first plateau…

My husband and I grocery shop once a week, and I usually make stops during the week but am really trying to get away from that so stay on budget. I try to plan a week or two of meals at a time and then check the fridge and pantry to see what I already have on hand and go from there. We tend to stock up on meat once a month…

I weigh myself daily, even though I know I shouldn't. It helps to keep me motivated to make the right choices. So far, I have tracked everything I've eaten. I treated myself to a kid scoop of ice cream with my boys last night and was still well under my limit (after exercise) for the day.

Hi everyone, I'm Lori. I'm 34 years old, mother of two and a middle school assistant principal in Canyon Lake, TX. I grew up in a very athletic and competitive family so when I was younger I had no issues with my weight. In college, I gained A LOT, but at 25 decided it was time for a lifestyle change and lost it all. After…
