Are you taking blood pressure medication? I get that feeling quite frequently and the dr says it is my blood pressure. Since losing 15 pounds mine has dropped low and gives me that feeling if I stand up tpp quickly. Just a thought.

I've got to try this recipe! Thanks!

Step away from the Oreos!!! Is there anyway you can take them outside to play or for a walk or something? Sometimes some fresh air will help clear your mind a little. I understand completely when the perfect solution seems to be a bag of chips or cookies. Try doing something to divert your attention that won't allow you to…

I've never seen those before. Thanks for the link!

Great!!! I'll have to remember that next time I go out and don't know what to eat.

Yummo!!! I think I may have to try this-no drops for me though. I wanna actually eat the chocolate!!!

Yep! Usually sometime between 3&4 am. It makes my puppies mad too because I have to disturb them, so they usually leave and go sleep somewhere else!:drinker:

I just finished watching it and I thought it was pretty good. I especially enjoyed the "common sense" approach and really wish the government would butt out of everything and let people make their own choices. I was just diagnosed with the whole insulin resistance/diabetes thing last year and every nutritionist I've seen…

Thanks for all of the support and encouragement everyone. I'm feeling much better after I got some sleep and cooled down! I rearranged everything and gave him his own shelf in the pantry and frig and made it clear to the kiddos (and myself) that that was daddy's junk food shelf and that they needed to stay away from it. My…

I drink lots of water, especially in the summer. My kidney dr is always telling me to drink lots of water so I usually do 24 oz with breakfast, followed by another 24oz mid morning, and repeat throughout the day so I probably get well over 100 oz in the course of the day.

Hmmmm....I can think of a lot of things to say, none very nice. ( I do know there are websites that you can anonymously send a pile of horse doo doo to people you know and love! She sounds like a prime candidate for a gift like that.) Otherwise just ignore her. She's obviously unhappy with herself if she takes such…

There are lots of us around here with a looong way to go, and a lot more who have been there and are at or nearing goal weight! Welcome!:flowerforyou: Add me as a friend if you like! I've only been here almost 3 weeks!!

I was wondering about that myself, but I don't have a HRM to check it with. I never eat my exercise points though because I've got a bunch of pounds that need to come off.

175-far enough away from 200 that I never get there again, and small enough to buy clothes off the rack that aren't plus size. (and within the healthy BMI weight range.)

I didn't used to be afraid of spiders , but now....about 10 years ago I stepped on a gigantic wood spider to kill it, and about 1000 baby woodspiders shot up my leg. (Now I won't go NEAR a spider!!!):noway:

I go with what's easy and convenient. If It takes too long to fix I don't want it.

Lots of people on here have lots to lose. I lost 30 before starting MFP and 10 since I've been on here. Welcome!:flowerforyou:

I'm going to have to go with Billy Ray Cyrus and Achy Breaky Heart. I also have The Hamster Dance and Kung Fu Fighting on mine.:noway:

You need to be careful because too much potassium can be dangerous. In the past I've only taken it when I was on a strong diuretic which depleted my potassium.

So you're telling me that the "all chocolate, all the time" diet probably won't work???

I've done both! I like MFP because it's free and is a lot easier to use. I switched because I have Diabetes and I needed a way to track the carbs and keep a close eye on them and MFP lets me do that easier. I'm not sure why weight watchers is saying you only have 1 point left-it may be the exercise that MFP gives you extra…

I hear ya! Can't go to the pool today, and here in GA it's supposed to rain all week. I don't feel much like dragging myself down to the treadmill either. Ugh....need some sunshine!!!

It depends on the day!:ohwell:

I usually don't worry about coffee, unless it's a frappe or mocha from Starbucks. I always use splenda and a tsp of creamer in mine at home. I'd say go ahead and enjoy it.:drinker:

Thanks Everyone!:drinker:

Do a google search on water aerobics. You Tube has a lot of water aerobics videos you can watch. They have a lot of good ones. You can walk, jog, run, go backwards, kickbox. Anything you do on land can be done in water with a much better workout. When I get into the water, I feel like as long as my arms and legs are…

WOW!!! We have similar goals. Thank you for the inspiration. There is hope for me yet!!!:drinker:

I sent you all a friend request, but it wouldn't let me add more than 5! I have 10 down, and 140 to go so I'll be hanging around for awhile.:drinker: If I didn't get down to add you as a friend feel free to add me!!!

I'm also diabetic and I mostly look at the carbs to keep my blood sugar down. You can set your food diary to keep track of your carbs and sugars and adjust the percentages accordingly. That's what I do and my Blood Sugar levels have come down to almost normal range.

Watch the documentary "Super Size Me". It might change your mind. My friend has a Mc D's burger and fries that is 9 years old-and it still looks like it did 9 years ago. It was so filled with preservatives that it hasn't rotted or anything. Can you switch to a healthier fast food like subway? I'm kind of a subwayaholic now.
