See my post, right before this one, and you should have better luck!

FOR ALL THE HANDFUL OF "SOGGY CRUST" PEOPLE Since I haven't had this happen, myself, I'm sort of flying blind-- but I love having the opportunity to troubleshoot. First of all-- it's almost definitely NOT related to what kind or how much cheese you used. Second of all-- I doubt that it's the eggs. My (pretty good) guess is…

Yum! No fair making me hungry-- this is supposed to be a dieting site! Awesome job! -Chelle

Great blog post! It sounds like you made quite the delicious meal!

Did your crust look like mine when it was done? (Brown?) I suspect that you made your crust too thick. This crust needs to be very thin unless you're making "bread" sticks. The crust should be hand holdable-- like regular pizza. It should definitely not be soggy. If so, it needed to be cooked longer. And if the outside was…

Wow-- my post left you speechless! I hope it was for all the right reasons!

Of course, if your parchment paper ever DID catch fire you should keep the oven closed and turn off the broiler and wait for it to extinguish itself. The cauliflower pizza crust seems to stick to anything else I cook it on...

I broil on low and haven't ever had a problem-- but thanks for the tip!

The tortillas have 5mg of sodium, each, which shouldn't break the budget!

169 calories. I don't remember the carb number but it's low.

You could try a different brand or a different noodle. If you tried shirataki and didn't like it you might prefer tofu shirataki. I've never had any taste like rubber bands, though. Since it's made of vegetable and not grain the texture won't ever be the same but it's reasonably close. Your best bet is to add enough other…

I eat them every day and have never had that happen-- but I've never purchased that brand, either. I've cooked the heck out of then and never saw anything remotely like that happen. Very strange!

Yes, any fish will work! Simmer until the fish changes from translucent to opaque. I simmer on medium low for about 30 minutes (starting with cold fish and salsa at the beginning of the 30 minutes). I think the salsa will be all the seasoning you'll need-- especially with the crab meat, shaved parmesan and buttery spray on…

What brand are you using? They'll obviously dewater a little-- that's our goal-- but they shouldn't do so excessively! Just enough to improve the texture.
-
How expensive is it? I know that the Walmart brand of Crystal Light and Diet 7-Up are both pretty cheap-- and almost zero calories. Would love to try the Cuervo brand, though!

I've tried many different iterations and none are as good as this one. Give it a try and let me know what you think! -Chelle

An update since I wrote that post: We only make these by the pitcher, now. They go down so easily and other people start drinking them, too, that it's easier to have pitchers rather than keep making individual drinks. Into a pitcher we use an entire 2 liter bottle of Diet 7up, Tequila to taste, a few tablespoons of…

Despite living in a rural area, since I live near an Air Force base we have 5 Asian markets nearby. They are, by far, the cheapest source for shirataki noodles. (I get them for around $1.35/8oz bag) Some supermarkets have decent prices-- Harris Teeter and Sprouts, come to mind. ($1.59/8oz bag) Next tier of pricing would be…

You should check out my MFP blog and read the series of articles I entitled "Finally Chelle's Fabulously Fit Lifestyle." I sure wish that MFP had a better way to transfer this information from my account! Here are the proportions I used to serve 4 people-- and have leftovers-- along with the (calories): Certified Angus Beef - Top Round London Broil, 32 oz. (1,520) House Foods - Tofu Shirataki Spaghetti, 8 container (8 oz ea.) (320) Generic -…

MFP love is a good kind of love...! Thanks, grrl! -Chelle

Most servings are considered to be 2oz. That said, I've found that some brands play fast and loose with the listed net weight. House Foods, which makes the tofu shirataki noodles, lists 8oz as their drained weight-- and that's exactly what you get. There's another brand I use (a Japanese brand) that lists 7oz but the…

Yay!!! Follow the links in his post to my MFP blog and you'll find lots of ways to cook them. There are also lots more ways listed on the internet. They're so versatile! -Chelle
