Very impressive!

I always weigh myself, naked, although the other Walmart shoppers sometimes get a little worked up over it. I recommend putting your clothes back on BEFORE walking over to the blood pressure machine, however.

You obviously didn't bother to read the heartfelt apology in my comment, above. You go ahead and eat whatever your heart desires. I hadn't posted in the forum in a few years and hadn't realized how easy it is to get people riled up nowadays.

It's calorie dense.

Well I certainly didn't mean to offend by suggesting cauliflower-- but, then again, this is the age of strong reactions to minor things, so I'll be more careful in the future. Trigger Warning: I will be mentioning cauliflower again. Please don't read any farther if this might offend you. I'm not a fan of steamed…

I love rice-- all kinds-- and am told by many that I make the absolute best. (I use Basmati.) Unfortunately, there's no good rice when you're dieting. Brown rice at least has more fiber but it's still high in calories and has a high glycemic index. I've tried turning cauliflower into rice with a food processor and…

Here's one more chance to like them: If you don't care for the texture try stir frying with other textures. Try broccoli, bean sprouts, bok choy, chicken, onion, bell pepper, egg, water chestnuts, baby corn, etc. That should provide enough diversion that you don't notice the texture. One last option-- cook pasta,…

I honestly don't know! I've never heard of mushroom soup that wasn't cream of mushroom. Sorry! -Chelle

Remember: the thinner the better! And use parchment paper, not foil! And bake as long as you can-- it's okay to let it get brown. If you do all these things you will have hand-holdable pizza that's delish! -Chelle

Grocery stores usually stock them in the refrigerated produce section with the tofu products. Enjoy! -Chelle

For some reason the photo has stopped loading in the original post. Here it is, in case you were wondering: MFP doesn't display the entire pic but if you double-click it you can view the entire pizza. -Chelle

No, just dry them on the outside. They should NOT be crispy. They should remain "noodlish" (new word). Enjoy! -Chelle

These noodles are used in sukiyaki but I haven't seen them on Asian buffets.

Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely trying this!

I'm sure that was it. You should be able to mash the cauliflower with the back of a serving spoon...!

Cauliflower mash has been around for awhile but I'm pretty sure I'm the first to come up with the Cream of Mushroom soup variety. I, literally, worked my way through the grocery store trying to come up with a low cal version that didn't used sour cream and butter. At the time I wrote this post Google didn't come up with…

The non-tofu ones do that a little more than the tofu ones. I just dump them in a colander, rinse with hot water, and massage them under the running water. They separate pretty easily that way! -Chelle

It's a 6 pound batch that serves 6 people, so weigh out a pound and it will be about 425 calories. Enjoy! -Chelle

I'm so glad you liked the cauliflower mash! Bump dies two things: 1) bumps the post to the top of the MFP heap so others will see it 2) Saves it on your top 25 list so you can find it again later You don't have to say bump. You could just leave a period-- or anything else-- and it would do the same thing. Most people use…

I haven't seen them but I'll sure be looking for them now! Thanks! -Chelle

How exciting! I'm so glad that worked out for you! Keep us posted on your shirataki adventures! -Chelle

Good to know! At the time I wrote the original post I was unable to find anyone who shipped the tofu shirataki noodles. I'm glad that's changed! I usually buy both kinds. I prefer the tofu shirataki but oftentimes like to prepare the zero calorie noodles when every calorie matters. Thanks for the updated info! -Chelle

In America, virtually all cooking sprays are 0 or near 0 calories. Just use the lowest you can find.
