I am 5ft 1in, now at 137.5lbs from 156. I am on 1402 and I occasionally go into my Fitbit adjustment.

Like someone else here a few years ago I lost 30lb but still nothing. The upshot of this us that we are in the process of applying for adoption! So excited!

I'm 44, 5ft 1in and was 156lb when I started 3 months ago. I started on 1200 a day and I lasted a week. Then I switched up to 1450 a day with weight lost I took it down to 1402. I have lost 20.5 lbs so far and am on my last 14lbs. I have mfp set to sedentary with a Fitbit linked and negative adjustments enabled.

I agree. It's not healthy if he can't have your best interests at heart. My husband eats what I cook and actually enjoys it now. If he wants to eat something particular I will cook it a way that I am happy to eat it. Otherwise he will cook his own food. He has now joined me in calorie counting and had taken up walking and…

Divorced should not be seen as negative, you should see it as not being with someone who is not right or undeserving of you. So it's a good thing. I have lost 16.5lb. Some days I feel great, some days I don't but the good days get more frequent and the bad days decrease. I went for a 3 mile brisk walk this morning and now…

Stretch marks happen when you expand, or gain weight. Have you weighed yourself?

Fitbit does not include your exercise cals in your remaining cals for the day whereas MFP does from what I can see? also, calories are based on what actual cals you have burnt so far whereas MFP takes in a projected tdee when adjusting your cals.

Most airlines offer low fat/cal meals but I think you need to let them know ahead of the flight. That's what I have and I know Virgin, American Airlines, British Airways and Delta have all been able to give me this meal option but I request on booking. That said, no harm in asking?

Congratulations on your recovery so far and welcome back

The Fitbit Charge was down to te same price as the flex at Argos when I bought mine 6 weeks ago. Might be worth checking out.

I have had this on the tops of my arms and thighs all my life. Fromy early 20s I use a scrubbing sponge (the kind with a rough side) and then moisturise with anything I have to hand. Now my arms look nearly normal, they certainly don't bother me any more. My legs still have it a bit but not enough to bother me.

I would go on % body weight lost and not actual lbs. I noticed a difference at 15% original weight lost.

^^^ this here is so amazing. I know my husband and I are doing the right thing for us and hope that we can make a difference. And from what I have read here, it gives me so much encouragement xx thank you all for sharing

My word I am so happy I came across this thread. I am going through the process of applying to be an adoptive parent and reading this has been amazing. Hearing the viewpoint of the adoptive child. It gives me an extra insight I never had before and to be honest it's made me quite emotional (in a good way)

I did SW a few years back and lost 2.5 St and then maintained for a while without attending. It helped but for me the weight came off slow (prob because I only had 2.5st to lose) and j learned nothing about portion control. Now CC'ing find the foods I eat much more varied and I can have packaged food on busy days and still…

My husband bought me a rope that feels like it's made out of leather. I might work my way up to wrist weights
-
Cool - might work my way up to the single leg thing less I find myself flat on my face!

Thanks yes, I started calorie counting 2 weeks ago. Started off at MFP suggested 1200 cals only to learn that was too low. So am now eating at a deficit of 20% of tdee. It's been ok and have lost 5lb in 2 weeks. Learning to try to make sensible decisions on my food, learning but I'll get there. Thanks to everyone for your…
