Ive tried this. Only recommend you do it once a month. Important you use non-iodized (it doesnt absorb into the body) sea salt, 1 Tbs for 32 ounces of purified water, not tap water. I wil say, I run between 3 and 6 miles 4 times a week no problem. I did one mile on the StreetStrider and was quickly introduced to a whole new group of muscles in my legs I didnt know existed. Time will tell.

Love my fitbit. Dont leave home without it. I ended up getting my wife one also. Realized my exercise eqipment calorie count was too high. Stopped recording my exercises in MFP and started relying on my fitbit adjustments only. Loosing weight again. yah.

I had to tailor my calories down. With the reccomended calories MFP was suggesting and the adjustments the fitbit were making, my weight was starting to creep up. Its all good now.
