  • Everyday! I love seeing the slow decline in weight! It literally makes my day to see a lower number. It's my daily motivation!
  • Each day when I log in I automatically put in my exercise log that I have burned 600 calories and that seems to help. I eat enough to meet my daily goal and eat back about two thirds of my exercise calories. I've been losing about 1 - 2 lbs a week.
  • I used to avoid the scale.. now I'm weighing myself every day. It may sound obsessive, but it's motivating to see how much I have lost.. even if it's on a few ounces. It all adds up!
  • Great job!! As a new mother you are an inspiration!! Thanks for posting!
  • I really need to remember that I didn't gain thirty pounds over night and that I can't expect it to fall off! Thanks!
  • This sounds really good! In the fix-it and forget-it lightly cookbook there is a recipe for southwest chicken that is similar. It is super yummy, and I bet this is as well! Can't wait to try this! The one thing I miss about my pre MFP days is guilt free indulgence of Mexican food!

I add an extra six hundred calories burned to my exercise log (I created a workout for nursing) and thanks to MFP I am a lot more careful…
  • That sounds awesome! I'll have to try it this weekend! Breakfast is always my most difficult meal to find low cal/filling foods.

  • I'm always up for a challenge! I say we befriend one another and keep up that way!
  • Yum! I can't wait to start baking and having some lower calorie treats! Thanks!
  • I agree.. making sure you have good form will help with the back and the ab aches and pains.. I also spend some time in the gym doing core strengthening excersises. I've found that if you don't strengthen your lower back/abs you can't hit peak performance. Best wishes!
  • No suggestions.. but I'm interested, too! Mmmmm. Cupcakes. :)
  • What goals have you set? I've set a weight goal just to have something to work towards.. but my main goal is to just get healthier. :) Happy dieting and you will find this site is great for keeping you motivated.. I've already gotten friends from work to sign up with me. It's addicting once you start seeing results!
  • Congrats on your weight loss! I've found that once you start a routine it's way easier to keep on track with working out.
