I actually saute it in a pan with enough olive oil as to not stick and add Schillings taco seasoning with just a little water and it is great for fish tacos. My sons love it!

I really don't know the answer as I grew impatient with mine after 2+ months. I increased my calories from 1200 to 1520/day to break it and while I had a hard time eating more mentally and was not as hungry, it worked. So-my doctor recommended this and so have several people here on MFP.

Try adding movement to the craving. if you "have to have it", eat it while walking. Put it far away so you have to go and get each bite. eventually it won't be worth it and meanwhile you are "moving" to get to it.

A little binging can actually help your metabolism recharge and break a plateau. As long as it is not a recurring theme. If I binge it is usually another glass of wine or 2. Your situation sounds like comfort eating maybe because of the job change approaching?
