If you can get to a pilates reformer class, there are so many options for working around an injury. You can get you arms, abs and core done without using your knees at all.

Potassium helps if you are sweating alot and it keeps your muscles from getting too achy. I drink a zico, eat a banana and go heavy on the leafy greens and it seems to help. Sodium is shockingly everywhere and water is your friend like the previous reply mentioned.

I am at 20 in 12 weeks (with a 4 lb relapse from vacation) and I seem to be meeting the ticker when it says "Hey if you keep eating like this your will weigh.....in 5 weeks". So I think paying attention to that migh help you realize your goal?

The weekends are easier for me because I burn so much (yardwork, cleaning etc) I can eat whatever I want. I weigh in on Fridays and if I have not lost what I wanted to, I work harder at it Sat & Sunday. I think I would get depressed weighing in on Monday-they are bad enough as it is being back in my cubicle!

There's a learning curve and adjustment period for your body to "want" the exercise. Usually after doing something for 2-3 weeks I can stick with it.
