It's hard to guess what would be the right kind of exercise for you. When I injured my knee I saw a Physical Therapist to give me ideas that weren't so intense to add to my workout. Swimming is great for suffering joints. I suggest you schedule an appointment with a professional to help you train. Good Luck!
