I sure count it! I try to alternate, so I'll do 32 oz w/ 1/2 a packet of CL then 32 oz w/ just lemon and so on. I don't care for MIO, I think they us a different sugar substitute and it makes me hungry - wierd. IMO don't stress about the cals, I've NEVER counted them and I know I've used as much as 30 cals in a day, really…

Give it time. I've seen some pretty dramatic improvements in my breasts over the last year. I went from a 40something DD to a 36B and they don't look as bad as they did a year ago. Now I can't go running around braless or anything, but a good supported tank or swimsuit and I feel pretty good.

Well if you'd read my all siggy you'd see I've gained back 10 lbs and am trying to lose that. So no it's not rhetorical. Not to mention even at my lowest I was not satisfied with my body fat % and loose skin.

Training and losing is tough work. In my experience you need to be clean with your diet and eat as much of your exercise cals as possible. Good luck and congrats on your success!

Yep, I spent probably 6 months undereating and really messing things up. I think I'm finally over that and accepting that it's ok to eat and I won't gain weight as long as I keep it balanced with my exercise.
-
Oh man I wish being full was my issue :) I'm hungry all the time! So I feel into the binge restrict cycle to maintain for a while. I'm finally coming out of that and becoming more balanced with my calories and aligning my exercise, hunger and calories and finding that to be much more sustainable and healthy for me. I also…

I don't think everyday is too much, however when I was losing I did take rest days. At first I took 3 days, then 2 and now only 1. But that one day I still do a little something. I think maybe if you don't want to take a full day off maybe you do something light, walking or stretching. In then end it's what works for you…

I just do it! I know that's completely unhelpful, but it's true. I just suck it up and go and am always glad I do. The alarm goes off at 4AM and I'm usually on the pavement by 4:45 (a few snoozes and a few unladylike words:)) It does get easier and become habit.

Bump again, this forum moves so fast!

Shoes yes, 300-500 miles. Aftermarket insoles - probably a year if they are the really hard ones for support, much less if they are just soft cushion ones.

My shoes are great, but that is great advice for any runner. I use asic kayanos and am on my 3rd pair, I think. It took me a while to find "the shoe" for me. But I got fitted and once I did that I found my love. I can get a brand new pair and go out that day and knock out 10 miles with no break in time. I'm pretty…

Yeah...I struggled to lose 5 lbs while I was training last year, then right after the race when my milage decrease slightly I dropped another 5 almost immediately. Ok...I think I'm convinced - eat! I think the only thing that I need to really work on is balance. I like to eat A LOT on the weekends. In order to eat a lot on…

UGH! I had my first chaffing experience this weekend!!! I can't figure out what happened - this NEVER happened last year and last year I was heavier...I have had issues around my bra line and use body glide for that, but this weekend I had problems at my thighs...yet another reason to drop this 10!

Oh that's not what I want to hear, although I've heard it before LOL! I'm pretty much going to be in training until March! HM in August, 10 weeks off (but trying to hit 1000 this year so need to keep my milage up), then training starts for a FM in March...I'm not doing anything with my pace, and my milage is increasing,…

I don't have an HRM...been thinking about getting one forever though...maybe it's time.

Yes, new shoes and start SLOW. I started running around 190 lbs and started with maybe 1/2 mile. You can see my siggy for where I am now and it to over a year to get there. For what it's worth I'm not a big fan of Brooks, but it really depends on your build, feet and weight. Good luck!

You own more sports bras then regular bras. You were more excited about getting a jogging stroller then a regular one. You started doing your own pedicures because your runners toes are too embarrassing.
-
I love it! Wanted to add - Body glide is a summer neccessity and not for sex. You motivation to do laundry is more so you clean running shorts than work clothes.

Eating an actual meal before my LR is pretty much impossible. I run around 5AM because of the heat and family obligations and there is no way I can get up any earlier to eat. This week is a cutback week, only 8, so I'm not going to worry about it and I'll keep my cals low. Next week I think I might try a banana and if that…

This is fantastic! I'm so excited to be on this journey with fellow runners!

I'm on the moderation highway - it's the only thing that keeps me sane!

I run early (4:30 - 5:00 am) so I don't eat before I go, but I usually do take a GU - mostly to wake me up. I try to eat well the night before though. I also shy away from the protien shakes, except after long runs for muscle repair like you said, because I don't find that they make a difference in my hunger so I don't…

Wow! Quick reponses! SO awesome to see other runners out there. My half is August 14th and I'm hoping to run the LA Marathon in March - still undecided...but think I'll register regardless. My biggest issue is that I'm so hungry after my longer runs, anything over 10 miles and I'm starving all day! Even over 5 miles and…
