Aw thank you, very kind, yes trying to keep in mind that hubby isn't bothered about weight. He is on a bit of a health kick himself so we can do this together. (He doesn't have a weight issue but other things he wants to improve) 100% agree with what you said about not being defined by a number on the scale, I say that to…

It has been such a strange time that we definitely need to practice kindness to ourselves, using food as a comfort during hard times isn't ideal, but we could be doing much worse. You have made such progress well done :)

Hi all, Thank you so much for your kind words. I thought no one had replied haha, I didn't realise we were not notified of replies! I did it! I stepped on the scales at the gym on Tuesday, before my workout so had trainers on, better at the moment with it being a shared scale anyway and figured a couple of pounds of…

Ooph that is tough moving back home, apparently that is worse than never leaving! Do you feel judged by some people for it? There are lots of throwaway comments that people make all the time about people being lame for still being at home and it stings.

Like!!

Hehe big girl panties. It just seems like everyone else knows what they are doing. I seem to agonise over the smallest decision! Thanks :)

Yes perhaps I should have included in my initial rant...I have been diagnosed with depression over the years have been back to the Drs, tried different meds, tried counselling. I had a very good private counsellor when I worked at the horrible job as I had the money for it - I couldn't afford to go back to her sadly. I…

7lb gain in December  but I deliberately go all out and feast for Xmas - gets it out of your system and then once you get back to normal it should drop off.

Ewww this has made me feel a bit grubby. I work in a gym and my job involves cleaning the machines too! Why would you go commando to the gym? Who cares about panty lines? You are going to get sweaty (unless you are going to pose and do nothing) Erm only wear a thong if you want to try for a yeast infection too...the fabric…

All my jobs. Although you guys with the poop definitely win.
-
This is what I say to anyone who utters the words "detox" or "cleanse" - you have organs for that. Except for the poop and pee bit - I am going to add that on now. :)

I feel your pain - I have too had a bad experience of working for two different solicitors. Both nightmares. The last team I worked for the boss was hideous - constantly telling me what I was doing was not good enough, talking down to me, being critical, threatened to cancel my week off if I didn't get on top of the never…

I think talking to a counsellor - even if you don't think it will help it usually does. Exercise. Trying to look after yourself. Setting goals and planning nice things to look forward to. Meds work for a lot of people - speak to your Dr could be worth a try?

Funny stuff!!

Get a good model HRM which gives you calorie burn.
-
Can you make it a guestimate based on how tough it felt? Were you sweating, breathing heavy etc? You could possibly log it as boxercise but that could be higher than what you actually burned. If you like really accurate burn readings get a HRM which measures calories :)

We have a Bedlington terrier and Whippet. Not sure what breed I would like next - our Bedlington is one in a million and such a character not sure I could have another. Whippets are lovely so affectionate and cuddly!

I've only had a quick flick through your diary but I wonder if you are tired as you aren't eating enough? You don't eat a huge amount and some of your meals are quite small?

Would you shave your face if a woman didn't like your beard?

I did Krav Maga for a couple of months. I found it not a majorly intense workout as it was about learning the techniques - breaking down all the moves and practicing them - I was quite slow to pick it up so it took me ages to learn the moves! Maybe someone quicker on the uptake could get more intensity going quicker than I…

Me too :) Always single!

I agree with the above - your heart and lungs are very efficient and will adapt to stresses placed upon them. The whole point of CV is to improve the efficiency of your cardiovascular system. Think you should only be alarmed if you ever experience pain. Check with you Dr if you are worried.

Am I the only one who thought this was about having a poo?!
-
Also I read you can get a yeast infection if you exercise in a thong?"

I like runkeeper. I've heard of the zombie one sounds funny! I do run/walk intervals so no doubt the zombies would get me. I wondered this too if I could run both at the same time not sure!

Seen quite a few people fall off the treadmill too.

I once saw a guy standing in front of the mirror flexing his biceps and he kissed his bicep. Yup. I figured he must have been messing around with friends but I looked around and no one was stood with him...
