  • Yay! That's great! And yes everyone plateau's, I did. But I think it was mainly due to my eating. Lol! I would go a little reckless on the weekends.
  • I have found the same thing, when I have tried to work out in the am I just do not have enough energy for her workouts, yet when I work out in the evening I can really give it my all. It sucks too because I'd rather work out in the morning.
  • Its funny in Fire 55EZ she says "house" when she means "pump" it but I do what I know she means to say.
  • I will be starting ChaLean Extreme which is at home strength training program. I've seen good results from other women that have done it.
  • Neat! I am doing mine next Saturday and I am nervous and excited at the same time.
  • I just wanted to say stick with the program, you will love it! I am finishing up week 20 and I have had great results and LOVE LOVE LOVE Turbo Fire. I will be starting ChaLean Extreme on Monday. In the beginning you might feel like you aren't getting the moves down, but keep going. You will get the moves down eventually…
  • I would continue going. There were a few weeks where I could only work out 4 of the 6 days because of schedule conflicts but I kept going.

  • Yep and I swear the 2nd time you do this combo she extends it longer than you are supposed to. You can hear the music quiet down but then she's like keep going and the music gets louder again. Lol!
  • With Fire 45 EZ by the time you get to the "brush your shoulders" part my legs are tired, so I sometimes take a water break and don't put my hands up when you are doing the kick your feet out move - not sure what its called. Lol!
  • Love, love love Turbo Fire! I am currently on week 20 and honestly the music helps keep me motivated. Plus I wear a heart rate monitor and knowing the calories I burn definitely helps to push harder with the workouts. My weight loss is in my ticker and it is all because of Turbo Fire. I will be posting before and after…

  • Awesome! You look great. Hard work definitely pays off.
  • It's crazy! Here the AMC theatres post the calories and I couldn't believe how many calories were in the nachos. I used to ALWAYS get the nachos. If I have to have something I now get the kids popcorn, unsweetened tea as my drink and it comes with 100 calorie gummy bears. Not great, but not terrible for you either. The…
  • I've recently had Simply 7 Dill Lentil chips and use the plain greek yogurt as dip. YUM!
  • I think BMI along with other stats are helpful tools that can be used in guiding how much one should weigh. However, I do not believe it should be the only stat that one considers. Not every African American woman is shaped the same way so having a BMI just for African American women would not be helpful. The way I…
  • I'm sorry for your loss.
  • You can do it! I lost 25 lbs before my wedding back in 2007. After the wedding I promptly gained it all back because I felt less restricted since the wedding was over. I stopped exercising and I ate whatever I wanted. I have lost the weight again this year and lost even more than before. And this time I am making it a…
  • I went to see a nutritionist once and I found her information to be very valuable. I still use some of the tips she gave me to this day. I would go at least once and see what you think.
  • Well for a month I stayed at the same weight, but I attribute that to eating out more but I was still working out. Have you tried increasing your calories for just one day to shock your system? I've heard of that working for some people. You could also look at your sodium levels to see if you are holding on to water…
  • Today was day 1 of week 19 for me. I love Turbo Fire and have really enjoyed the program. There were a few weeks that I missed a couple of workouts because I was busy, but I still kept pushing play. This is the only program I have stayed consistent with and actually look forward to the workouts. Next up for me will be…
  • I am going to try it as well Brooke. Today was day 1 of week 19 for me. So I should be starting the CLX/TF hybrid on June 18th. I am going to try Jenelle's hybrid. I went back and forth between P90X (which I already have), NROLW (ordered the book, and CLX. NROLW seems great, but its easier for me to work out at home. P90X,…
  • Good luck! I think losing 15 lbs in 10 weeks is doable, that's averaging 1.5 lbs per week. If you really want to meet that goal make sure you are eating the right foods (mainly clean eating) and make sure you are eating enough. You can do it!

  • I am currently on week 17 of Turbo Fire. I  Turbo Fire! It is such a great program. I have lost 25 lbs on the program and could have lost more if I had not indulged this past month with celebrations. Lol! Anyway its a great program if you do the workouts and watch your caloric intake.
  • You look great, what a transformation!
  • Keep pushing play. You will get the moves down, I did not have the moves the first time either. During the workouts I just kept moving and doing what I could. The more times I did the workout, the better I got. I lost 25 lbs from Turbo Fire, its a great workout!
  • Welcome! I bought the advanced classes for much less that what Beach Body is selling them for. I believe I googled Turbo Fire Advanced Classes and it came up with a website where I was able to order them for less. I at first did not like Fire 60 but that workout grew on me. It's nice to have the extended HIIT workout as…
  • You look great!!! Congratulations!! You look much younger as well.
  • Welcome! Good luck with the program, many people have had great results.
  • Just keep pushing play! You will love the workouts!
