If you don't want to eat breakfast, you don't need to.

I like this recipe, with black beans and corn: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/quinoa-and-black-beans/detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Title&e11=quinoa%20black%20beans&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Recipe%20Search%20Results

How often are you measuring? More than 1x/month seems kind of silly.

I've got spinning after work and dinner with my family tonight. Tomorrow morning I'm running a 5k benefiting a local nursing home. Then I'm taking a little trip to a huge Japanese supermarket for some interesting goodies I can't get at home. The market also has a food court -- I'm thinking ramen for lunch! No plans for…

I use Skullycandy Chops and I love them! http://www.zappos.com/product/8009730/color/11205?zfcTest=fw:1

Great ideas -- thanks everyone!

At least 5 times per week.

I think you should experiment with different brands, too. Buy the single-serving cups until you find one you like. I don't like it plain, but with a little PB and cereal mixed in? It's also a nice sub for sour cream -- you might like it better this way.

I have been working out with a Polar FT7 for about 6 months and I absolutely love it!

I use a free app (for iPhone) called "Daily Yoga" once in a while. You can choose to practice for 20, 40, or 60 minutes. If you upgrade to the paid version there are more/custom workouts. I'm interested in seeing other app recommendations.

Pre-log your training runs so you know in advance about how many calories you have to work with -- this way you can spread out the extra calories over the course of the day instead of trying to force them in at the end.

I like beans and rice for breakfast. Cheap, easy, filling, and I can make a big batch to last all week.

If you've rested it for a week with no change, I think it's time to see a doctor.

So true.

I couldn't finish my giant grilled T-bone at dinner last night, so I sliced up the leftovers and am eating that on a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, chopped yellow and green peppers, tomato, and a few hot pepper rings. I also like a "Santa Fe" salad with topped shredded chicken, grilled corn, and black beans.

A bottle of Guiness! :drinker:

Armpocket and PDO have different sizes, I believe. You'll need to measure your arm to determine if any of them would be right for you. You might also look into trying a belt instead--I saw one on REI recently.

I wear a headband, sports bra and tank or tee, HRM, running shorts (w/ built-in briefs), armband w/ iPhone (keeping volume low enough to hear traffic sounds), dri-fit socks, and my Mizunos. Looking into getting some sunglasses, but I'm worried they'll annoy me.

In my humble, unprofessional opinion... You need more of these: water fiber protein whole grains VEGGIES And less of these: sweets

Splurge and get a large, programmable model. I did not get a programmable one and really regret it!

I went to a specialty running store to get my gait analyzed and find a pair of proper running shoes. I was expecting to spend over $100 -- instead, the shoe I liked most was an older model and only $75.

I gave up sweets and soda for Lent and was amazed at how good I felt. The cravings went away after a week or two. I did reintroduce sweets to my diet, but I don't think I will ever drink soda again!

The results make it worthwhile for me. Plus when I consider the alternatives, it doesn't seem so bad.

I use my Polar FT7 for all types of exercise. It's great!

Interval training is a great way to mix up your training a bit and fend off boredom.

I quit smoking 9 months ago. I started by indentifying my triggers -- times and events I found myself smoking. For me, the biggest triggers were driving and after a meal. Once I identified my triggers, I started delaying lighting up. So, when I used to light up as soon as I pulled out of the driveway--I would make myself…

Multivitamin, D3, B-complex, and fish oil.

Water (filtered, and infused w/ cucumber, lemon, etc. if you want to add some flavor), coffee, tea, wine, and occasionally beer. I used to drink diet sodas, but I recently cut those out and feel much less bloated.
