As others have said, I would freeze it in small batches. I do this with broth as well if I don't need the whole can.

Log it and move on. Tomorrow will be better.

Couch 2 5k is a great program. Don't be afraid to repeat weeks if you don't feel ready to move on. Invest in some running shoes. A specialty running store can analyze your gait and recommend shoes to fit your feet and your style of running.

Probably just a yoga practice -- calm my nerves and save my energy for dancing the night away.

I like the dress from Target you posted. I would probably get it in black (more versatile) -- you can add color to your outfit with the cardigan, jewelry, purse, etc. Enjoy the wedding!

I love my Polar FT7!

I'm trying for all of the above. I lost a decent chunk of weight focusing just on the scale before switching to a broader approach. I don't want to get skinny, but I do want to lower my body fat percentage and be fitter and healthier.

A few nicer pieces I have gotten altered. Everything else I pass on to friends or relatives, or donate to Goodwill.

The Crockpot Chicken Enchilada Soup from skinnytaste.com is one of my favorite soup recipes. Not sure if you are familiar with the site, but she has a ton of great recipes and posts nutritional info for each one.

That's a really common sentiment in the pro-ana arena. It always makes me uncomfortable when I hear dieters saying similar things.

I would probably get mixed Chinese vegetables with garlic sauce--ask for the sauce on the side so it's not drowning in the stuff, and limit my rice portion.

I will typically make a large batch of something or other on Sundays, divide it into single servings, and eat it for lunch at work throughout the week. This week it was shredded pork w/ mushrooms over udon noodles. Last week was chicken & lentil soup. I like to make a big enough batch to last the week, plus one or two…

I used the Livestrong My Quit Coach app for iPhone to track my cravings and smoking. Using the app, I weaned for a couple of weeks (and used that time to break myself of the habit of automatically lighting up in the car, automatically lighting up after dinner, etc.) before quitting. In the past the only "effort" I'd made…

I use lean ground beef, and mix in worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, and salt & pepper before forming my patties. Mmm, burgers.

Love the attitude! Keep on running!

Even if it WERE feminine, would that really be so bad?

I've had good luck with Old Navy, Target's C9 line, and the GapFit line at the Gap (on sale). I prefer spandex/tights/leggings over traditional shorts or pants because once I put them on I don't have to worry about them riding up, sagging, etc.

I like to think about how much *kitten* I'm kicking! Sometimes I like to pretend I'm training for the Hunger Games.

Homemade chicken enchilada soup (recipe adapted from Skinny Taste)--yum!

Dexter on DVD would make a great gift! The TV series is loosely based on/inspired by books, which he also might enjoy.

Beard Lube is a "pre-shave oil, shave cream and skin conditioner in one" by Jack Black. I got him a small bottle last year and he fell in love with the stuff. I buy it at Sephora; not sure if it's sold elsewhere.

I got my boyfriend a beer-brewing kit (Mr. Beer), a pass for the 2 of us to tour a local brewery, some Nike gear (running shorts, warm sweatpants), a game for the 360, a couple triathlon mags as he's looking to try one in 2012, and a giant bottle of Beard Lube. We have been dating for almost 3 years.

In 2012, I will: run a 5k in 30 minutes progress to unassisted pull-ups and dips reach my goal weight

Don't include your workouts in your activity level -- you should log those separately. For example, I work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, sitting at a desk. I workout at least 5 days per week. My activity level is set to sedentary, and I log my workouts as I do them. I would guess your activities as a housewife to put you…

Add some vegetables. They're good for you and can bulk up your meal without adding many calories.

Avocado deviled eggs?! I hope it's as good as it sounds!

I'm already pissy with my gym because they've started offering group classes despite not really having the space to do so. These classes take up the entire mat/stretching/balance ball area and are just generally in the way. I can only imagine how high my blood pressure will go next month when I've got to work around the…

That does look amazing, but the price is out of reach for now, unfortunately.

I thought of the entry fee, but we'll be relocating in the summer once he's done with school, and we aren't sure where yet as he's still looking for a job. Can you recommend any specific brand of the shorts?
