You might die. But it will be worth it.

How tall are you? What is your body fat %?

I weigh in on Thursdays, first thing in the morning, naked after using the toilet. Sometimes when I'm at the gym I'll hop on that scale out of curiosity, but I never log that number.

You should be able to get diet cola and rum at just about any place. That's my go-to drink. A friend prefers it with vodka instead of rum.

Too funny!

Not true--my boyfriend got me a netbook for Christmas two years ago and I absolutely loved it!

OMG!

Last year, my mom got me an ugly fake leather jacket. The best part was that it was at least 2 sizes too big and had no tags. I didn't have the heart to ask for the receipt, so it's in the back of my closet. It's really sweet that she tries to buy clothes and accessories for me, but we just don't have the same taste.
-
What does that even mean? How would it be stored as fat if your body didn't process it?

If she's into musicals/theatre, get her tickets to a show! ETA: You could make a mini getaway package out of it and get a nice hotel room for the night of the show.

I had this same thought a couple of years ago and ended up with an injury, which really set back my weight loss. If you want to shock your body, try something with lower impact like swimming or cycling.
-
I also eat much more slowly when I work while eating. However, this only works because my hands are busy typing or whatnot -- it doesn't work if I'm doing something passive (like watching TV).

My gym doesn't have it, but a couple of the neighboring businesses do

I had a baby spinach salad topped with fresh diced tomato, some turkey breast leftover from Thanksgiving, and a slice and a half of bacon (leftovers from BLTs a couple nights ago) on top, plus a piece of string cheese and 4 big olives, all for about 300 cals.

At a bar on Valentine's Day.

Do you know what your daily defecit is? Many people on here have MPF set to give them a daily defecit of 500 cals, so even going over the goal by 300 calories still puts you at a caloric defecit.

I used to buy a lot of frozen meals (Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, etc.) and soups to heat up for lunch at work. Now I make my own at home using better ingredients. Tastes better and is better for me! The next step will be making my own stock/broth.

Yes, they do contain some protein, but I don't think that 7g of protein in a 299g potato is anything to brag about.
-
I like potatoes, and think they can easily be incorporated into a healthy diet, but they are hardly "loaded with protein" as suggested here.

You'll have to do some math if you're that gung-ho about accounting for the calories you've saved by grilling. I would think you could get a fair estimate with a little weighing and the knowledge that 1 g of fat is about 9 cal.

I'm always pretty wiped immediately after a workout, but in general, I have much more energy since I started exercising regularly. I think that's what most people mean when they say working out makes them more energetic.

Lately I am hooked on Blue Diamond Wasabi & Soy Sauce Almonds

I would do a 5 minute warmup, 20 minute circuit of heavy lifting hitting the major muscle groups (minimal/no rest between sets), 15 minutes of interval training, and then a 5-minute cooldown/stretch.
-
I'm the opposite -- I know that if I don't take at least a day off each week, I will get burnt out. I've done it before.
-
I pack my gym bag every night and bring it to work with me so I don't have to go home first. My gym is on my way home. When I'm at the gym, I use interval training and supersetting to make the most of my time there.

Track them -- especially fruit!

I like it because it is low calorie and delicious on cereal. I probably never would have tried it, but my boyfriend is lactose intolerant so he's all about non-dairy milk.

I'm nearly 5'7" and weighed in at 165.5 this week. I am 24 years old and have my activity level set to sedentary since I sit at a desk all day at work. My goal is to lose 1 lb/week. Currently my goal weight is set to 160, but I will probably change it to 150 soon. However, weight is just a rudimentary way to track my…

My go-to snacks at work are fresh fruit and string cheese. Sometimes beef jerky.

Not just a tour, but probably a trial membership of some sort. The gyms near me will give you a week to try it out for free.
