If you've been losing consistently until now, maybe your body has become "comfortable" with your calorie intake/use. One idea is to up calories to maintenance for a few weeks (2-4), and then go back to the deficit and trying to lose. I did something similar after losing 12kg (took an unintentional 6 month break) and now…

Tons of brands do this- Guess the difference is that they tell you. http://www.foodwhistleblower.org/blog/22/198 http://blog.fooducate.com/2011/07/22/are-you-buying-meat-but-paying-for-salt-water/ http://www.wtop.com/253/2979224/Are-you-eating-pumped-up-meat-

We go grocery shopping 2-3 times a week, so we could buy anything! We have tuna steaks or salmon once a week, and lots of veggie dishes. I'm up to try any new suggestions. The blog looks great, I will check it out after work. P.S. You guys are right about lots of things being under 500 calories. I just didn't want to limit…

Was in the sauna today... ok, in Germany, but I swear we had them in California. Mostly at ski resorts, camping places, or health clubs... basically anywhere in the mountains where it's not a gazillion degrees. As for attire? We would usually go in towels or swimsuits. Never remember going completely bare in the US, but I…

Roasted Butternut Squash (what I made for dinner today). According to MFP and entering all the ingredients, it's 350 calories- for big portions. This *was* dinner for us- but it could also be good as a side dish. Ingredients: 0.9 kg -1.13 kg (2-2.5 pound) butternut squash 1 large-ish clove garlic, minced 2-3 tbsp finely…

You look great, and you are gorgeous! Seriously. Great Loss.

We have the same issue with left over ingredients (since we're only cooking for 2). We usually plan two days of different meals that use similar ingredients. Like the first day: fish, mixed veggies, and boiled potatoes, and the second day: a potato-vegetable-ham casserole. Or an asian-style veggie stir-fry with chicken.…

Shampoo/Conditioner in one, towel, energy bar, hairbrush, anti-chafing body stick (if I'm planning a long run), flip flops, extra hair bands/bobby pins, chapstick, and empty water bottle to fill. Gym pass/wor-out plan, deo, emergenzy inhaler.... and clothes, of course, but I swap those out every workout. :D

^I love this.

I do. I always save it in the "notes" box. It's interesting for me, because when I go back and check it- it's been pretty accurate when I was really logging *every* bite. For me, if it isn't accurate, I either check if I've been honest with my logging, or I consider what else might be in play (totm/water wieght, muscle…

I'm attracted to fit/muscular guys. Think "Magic Mike" - lol. Does that mean I wouldn't go out with a guy who wasn't? No. I'd give him a shot if he was nice, but it's not what would catch my eye first. That being said, I'm not perfect, so I'd hardly expect it either... thus why I am here. :) I'm just being honest, and I am…

agreed. Start with what you know you can stick with. This is a permanant change- not a diet. You can do it!
