Me: 3 LNS: 2 Streak: 0 Yesterday :( I made oreo cheesecake cupcakes for my son's birthday celebration at school, and ate pretty much all of the extras. Like 1000 calories. I was over my daily calories by a lot... maybe 600. maybe more. Not my proudest day. The scale is back up a pound. While I know I didnt' eat enough to…

Hi everyone. Just checking in. Today is day 7 AF for me (since New Year's Eve). I used to have a few drinks 1-2 days a week, but stepped it up in December with a (mini bottle) wine advent calendar. I'm here to cut back on my drinks in hopes to lose some weight. I'm still tap-dancing around the idea of the dry January, but…

Me: 3 LNS: 1 Streak: 2 days  After dinner I wanted something sweet, so I checked my food diary, looked at calories, and budgeted for some small cookies. Counted out a portion that fit my calories, enjoyed them, and didn’t touch any more. I call that a win for me- and I was still under my calorie goals for the day.

Just a little laugh. But seriously, Day 4 and the temptation is great. Probably doesn’t help that it’s Friday evening- I’m used to unwinding with a glass of wine- and my kids are hyper.

Hi everyone. (Good Morning! Here it’s 5:30am here in Germany). I’m getting ready for day two of my marketing training seminar. It’s actually been very interesting- and no chance to snack! Lol. My goals for today will be: -drink lots of water -no alcohol (hard on the weekend, but I really find alcohol makes losing weight…

“To be the best version of myself” aka to eat better, get more sleep, work out, read more books, drink less alcohol and more water, have more patience with my kiddos, and to further education myself/further my career.

I’m game. Are there any other rules or anything we should be doing? Original starting weight - 83kg January starting weight - 75.5kg January goal - 73kg Ultimate goal - 60-65kg January 2nd - 75.5kg January 9th - January 16th - January 23rd - January 30th - Total loss for January -

My first instinct was to not log it and hide my embarrassment. But then I realized if I don’t hold myself accountable, then who will? And I really want to make a change. So now it’s out there, and hopefully accountability helps me to make positive changes.

I’m so glad I found this group. Me: 1, LNS: 1. I did great yesterday, but today I gave into a chocolate craving after putting the boys to bed. After looking up/logging the calories I completely hated myself for it. But tomorrow is another day.
-
I’ve never even thought about this. Out of curiosity I think I’ll check how many calories mine have, but I don’t plan to log them (for now. May reassess if I plateau).

I did 10 years ago when I was 23. Best decision. I’ve since had 2 children and successfully BFed for 18 months with each. Make sure you do your research and find an excellent surgeon. Recovery is hard for about a week, but I was back at work after the weekend (Friday surgery).

We can do this!

End of day recap: +90 minutes of exercise (walking on treadmill) +healthy meals and planned snacks +AF (alcohol free) -sweets craving at 8pm after a hectic bedtime routine with the LOs. Gave in and ate TWELVE little chocolates that have 52 calories each. I could have cried when I logged that. 😢 I was still in a calorie…

Hi. I’m Megan (33), communications trainer and mom to two boys (4yo and 19mo). I’m here to cut back on my drinking and be more conscious of using alcohol to unwind at the end of a stressful day. I’m trying to lose weight, and I know alcohol doesn’t help (empty calories and uninhibited snacking). December 31st - I had wine…

Hi. I’m recently back to MFP after having my second child (although he’s now 19 months, so I can’t use that as much of an excuse). I hope I am doing this right. My goals for the next 10 days are to work out or walk everyday. To be mindful of everything I eat. To drink more water. I don’t have a specific goal weight for…
-
Anyone is welcome to add me, too. I’m on the phone and can’t figure out how to do it 🙈
-
I have some small goals (new make up brush, earrings, girl’s night out), and then a few bigger ones (new pans, and a new outfit) for the bigger milestones. I definitely like the rewards as an extra motivation to keep away from the snacks.
-
No tips, but following for advice. My boys are 4yo and 19months.

I’m so glad to have stumbled upon this thread. I lost weight with MFP a few years ago. Since then I had two children, and am now trying to lose the extra “baby” weight (although my youngest is 19 months old). My goal is to be conscious of the foods I eat, no bored snacking. And to work out/walk 4 days a week or more. (I…

Hi! Our stats are pretty similar. I’m 33yo, 5’5 (165cm) and CW is 168”bs/76kg. My first GW is 145lbs/65kg, and then I will reassess. I imagine my final GW will be something around 135-140lbs (62-65kg). I know this is an older post, but if you’re still looking for motivation, feel free to get in touch.

Hi ladies. My son is 16 months, so I'm embarrassed to blame my weight on pregnancy. I've just (slowly) begun to cut down nursing and wean, so that may help. I'm 5'5" (165cm) and 70kg (155lb). I'd like to lose 5-7kg to get down to about 63kg (140lbs). I am crazy about sweets, and need to cut down on them. I recently got a…

I just got a Fitbit today. Added everyone above. :)

I just got a Fitbit today. Would love some new friends. Davis.meg08@gmail.com I'm 31 (on the 4th- depending on your timeline), and have a 16 month old son. I have about 30 to lose.
-
I'm 5'5 and currently 165. My goal is 145 or so for now. I will reassess once I get to that. Feel free to add me (anyone with similar goals).

Not sure if it's a cheat day, but we (my husband and I) do one day of maintenance eating (so a full 1800-2200 calories). Then we do 3 days strictly limited calories (12-1400) followed by 3 of general (15-1600). (These are my numbers, his calories are higher, of course). The "cheat day" let's us not feel burnt out and we…
