Have you tried vaginal weights? I didn't have this, but my midwife suggested those (and kegels) after I had my son to help strengthen everything down there.

My son is 15 months, still breastfeeding and I've yet to have the lbs "melt off." I also gained about 7/8 lbs in the last 6 months because I am so hungry (and got lazy about food prep, poor food choices, and my son is on a gym-daycare strike!). I'm looking to lose the last 15-20, hopefully in the next 5-6 months. We'd like…

Feel free to add me- I could also use more people of similar mind-set. Meg

I'm *still* trying to lose weight after my first baby (nearly 15 months old). I don't have any advice, but can offer support. :) Meg

I had to google what a "vlcd" was. Actually the military diet doesn't go under 1100/day, (1400 for day one, 1200 for day two, and 1000-1100 for day three, then 1500 for days 4-7) and a vlcd is defined as 800 or less (like maybe the ones where you take a pregnancy hormone under dr supervision? Not sure). And for a man its…

I have about the same amount to lose. Best of luck!

I have a huge issue with portion control and overeating- especially in the evening. I can throw off an entire day of healthy meals by binging on sweets and chips at night. I'm on day 3 of not overeating- feeling hungry and a bit grumpy, but motivated! We can do this!

I was around 67kg pre-baby and was 87kg when I delivered (a 4 kg baby). I'm about 74/75kg now. I walk a lot, go to the zoo, etc but have been making poor eating choices and eating so much! We did IVF and are actually planning to try again at the end of summer, and I don't want to accumulate more weight and would like to be…

For the military diet, you should add (at least) 100 extra calories as a man. I would recommend only doing it for the 3 days a week, and then doing a moderate diet the other days (1800-2000 calories). This will be more like intermittent fasting. As for your vacation. Fill you plate 3/4 with fruits and veggies, and 1/4 with…

Glad to know I'm not alone. Pretty much all the girls in my mommy group are already back at pre-pregnancy weight! I'm still bfing if that makes a difference. I sent friend requests. :)

Hi Dana! I'm Meg. I'm 30. From California, but I now live in Germany. I have a 5 month old son, and am trying to get back into shape. I like going for walks, and biking. Unfortunately I also love to cook and bake.

I'm 5 months post baby, breastfeeding, and yet to see these pounds melt away! I'd love other mommy motivation buddies.

First, I'll second that you look great- and great job on the 30 lost! Maybe rethink your goal- I'm 5'5 and my goal is 140-145. I bet that at 150-155 you will look a.m.a.z.i.ng. Just don't stress it- you'll know your goal when you reach it. I definitely agree with the weight training comments. A few years ago I lost about…

Wow. That's a lot to deal with. Best of luck and we're all in this together- won't add my issues, cause you commented on my post :) we got this!

I find that working out makes me happy. Our gym is lucky enough to have a sauna, so I usually hit that up at the end of a workout. It makes it feel like a retreat rather than a work-out. I've given up wine M-F. One day on the weekend I'll have a glass (or 2 or 3), and not stress about it going over my calories. If I've…

Hi! I'm Meg, and Cali girl transplanted to Germany. I don't get to the forums that much, since I check in with the App more than my computer, but I'd love to be a part of this when I can. About a year ago, I lost 14kg on here, and was super happy. Then I gained like 4 back, and had to yell ''Hooooold up!' to myself. I'm…

looks yummy! Will have to try this. Question: Did you need to add any baking soda or powder to get them to rise? Could you post the recipe again here, in the video you said 1 banana, but it looked like you added another at the end. Thanks for the post!

This calculator was really clear. Thanks!

yum. bump

wow. yum! Luckily, it's no problem to get vanilla sugar in Germany :)

You look great. Awesome job- and what a payoff.

Did she find this cleanse hiking? Go for it--- but I'd recommend oatmeal baths and calamine for the duration.

I usually copy and paste mine into the ''notes'' area right below it. I found it to be accurate when I was really logging everything I ate. Some days it is up or down, but overall it's been pretty accurate for me. If I am losing a lot less, then I take it as a sign to rethink my logging, to see if I am mis-logging…

love it!

yum.

Awesome job! Keep it up and I'm sure you'll reach all of the goals you set for yourself.
-
I wouldn't worry about going over on protein- the MFP estimate is a bit low imo (goal is about 2 g of protein for every kg of body weight. or 1g for every lb). Add in some fruit? Or reward yourself with a sweet coffee, or cocoa- somthing you've been cutting out recently. :D
