  • I am 4 lbs shy of having lost 100 lbs. I agree with Dariasen, try not to focus too much on the total amount you want to lose and focus on smaller goals at a time (5 or 10 lb mini goals). Also, don't be in a rush! It took me nearly 3 years to get where I am now. If I had tried to cut my calories down low and lose faster, I…
  • 5'1.5" SW: 230 CW: 132 GW: 120 I picked my goal weight somewhat arbitrarily, so we will see how I feel when I get there. I may want to go down a little further if I still have tummy flab issues ( I would be okay with my current weight if it weren't for that!). I currently eat a little over 1600 calories a day. I use the…
  • I started losing weight long before I got my nexplanon implanted. It has not hurt my weight loss at all, I am still losing the same as I was before. I have had it just over a year now, and the only real issue I've had with it is a lot of spotting in between periods and weird cycles. I think it is starting to normalize out…
  • I was doing this for a while as well. I find logging and eating within my calories easy during the week, but something about the weekend makes it suddenly a challenge. The motivation for me to start logging consistently again was I was either losing really slowly or not at all while I was doing this. Its hard to tell if…
  • I started at 230 in August 2012. I am now down to 152. I have not been as motivated and as on track as I once was, so the weight is coming off much slower now. I am trying to get back that drive, as I was doing really well for a while. I am always looking for more friends to help keep me on track if you want to add me.

  • I am 5'1 1/2" and started at 230lbs back in August of 2012. I am currently 155 and working on getting down to 120. Feel free to add me, I am always looking for more friends  .
  • I'd like to be at 140lbs by the end of May. I am currently at 155, so that's about 5 lbs per month and completely doable. That will put me at 20 lbs away from goal, which I intend to go slow and steady on and give myself the rest of the year to lose. I would also like to give C25K another try when it gets warmer, now that…
  • I am in the same boat. I started this whole thing because I was so unhappy with my body. Now I an 75lbs down and I am still really not any happier with it. It can be really discouraging. I am trying to shift my attention to improving my fitness rather than obsessing about how I look, but that is so much easier said than…
  • Dinner is usually my biggest meal. Its the one I take the time to prepare and cook, so why not enjoy it? Breakfast and lunch are always either whatever I can throw together or leftovers from dinner. Besides, I find it easier to eat less during those meals without getting grouchy. A small dinner doesn't usually make me a…
  • My net goal is 1290 at the moment. I started higher than that, but now that I am closer to my goal, its been dropping lower. I do eat more on days when I exercise, but between the bitter cold where I live and repeatedly getting sick, I haven't been doing much of that lately. While I agree with the multiple posters on here…
  • It happens. Weight loss just isn't as linear as we'd like it to be. I was staying in my calorie budget the last 3 weeks, and for two of those weeks stayed the same weight, and even put on half a pound. It still makes me feel crappy after about a year and a half of doing this, but I've learned to push through it and trust…
  • That I can't have little extra calorie indulgences without going over my allotted calories. I've been doing great fitting a good amount of food that keeps me satisfied within my calorie goals. But I miss having that occasional glass of wine or a bit of dark chocolate. I know, I know, I can have anything if I fit it in. The…
  • I am currently on Week 1 of RI30. I only do it 3x a week, because I find the idea of doing it every day quite daunting (and repetitive). I have been doing some light yoga on the off days. I have never been a heavy exerciser, and maybe one day I'll do more, but that day is not today! That being said, the first day I did…
  • I'm back again as well after a few months hiatus. Feel free to add me!
  • Everyone has already given fantastic advice here. I just wanted to tell you that this was me a year and a half ago. I was so sick of being fat; I was sitting at 230 lbs (and I'm 5'1 1/2, so I had well over a hundred to lose as well) and miserable. I felt like it was impossible to lose the weight. I'd try for a little…
  • I just started back recently too. I originally started in August 2012, and took a few months off around the year mark. I started logging consistently again this month, and have lost 10 more lbs since December. Feel free to add me, I need friends too! I keep my diary open and I log every day.
  • I am 5'1.5 and currently weigh 163. I started over a year ago at 230, and am still slowly chugging along. I would love to break out of the 160's by the end of the month, as I have been stuck there for months. My goal weight is 120. I log every day and have my diary open. Feel free to add me!
  • Hi! I am 27, and have been working to lose weight since August 2012. I have lost almost 70 lbs so far and still have another 40-45 to go. I slacked off for a few months and am just now becoming active on MFP again. I lost track of my old friends and am looking to add some new ones as well. Feel free to add me!

  • I've tested as a INFJ and INTJ, but I'm inclined to think I'm an INTJ as it fits better.
  • I'm 5'1 and 1/2, and my UGW is 110. I chose it because back when I was 120 I still didn't like the way I lookedt. I'm not sure if its the right weight for me, but I figure once I get down close to it I will figure out what works best.
  • Chicagoland... in the Northwest suburbs.
  • I'm almost 5'2 (more like 5'1 1/2). I started here at my high weight of 230, and am now down to 216. My lowest weight was way back in high school at 120-130ish. I picked 110 as my goal weight because even at my thinnest I still felt blegh. I may change my mind as I get closer, who knows. I just want to be healthy and happy…
  • I'm in! I'm at 216 right now, so not too far to go. It was my goal to get under 200 by the end of the year as well.
  • SW: 230 CW: 219 GW: 110 Long way to go, but I'm committed to see it through!
  • I'm 5'2 and I want to lose 110 more still. Feel free to add me.
