I totally sympathise! I grew up not eating vegies as well. THe best way i've found to include them in my diet is to disguise them, and their flavour as much as possible. This is a great thread! Nice to chat to people in the same situation. I dance in musical theatre a lot and am forever grateful that an extra 10 pounds quickly gained gets evenly distrubuted and isn't very noticeable when in skimpy outfits. I started on 1200 as well- only lasted a couple of days feeling constantly hungry and without energy. Now onto 1350 a day but after reading everyone's experiences, i think i'll bump it up to 1450/1500 and trial that!

Hi Tanya, I feel for you- i crushed my wrist snowboarding a couple of months ago and i understand how hard it is to get motivated again after surgery! Am starting back into exercising daily and am looking for friends to motivate one another :) will add you now!
