We are all so lucky! And think how many more you will have here on MFP. I cannot express how much it has helped me. I'm a serious Foodie (i hate the term). Dining out and eating at the finest restaurants was a sport for us and it began to show in my mid section. Then I added over 15 more lbs on medication in two months…

Way to go! Keep up all the hard work and you will see and feel changes. You can do this!

YAY! ! ! totall LOL moment. It is hilarious to read all the other clothing malfunctions from other MFP members here too. Time to go shopping and appreciate your new body! Even if only one pair of pants. Believe me, belting will only look horrible. All my old pants either fall off of me or can easily be pulled down without…

WOW! WTG! You did a fabulous job. Good luck on the muscle gain. Remember to eat enough protein and healthy calories!

You can do it! You have already taken the first steps. I love MFP and so does my eldest daughter who I turned onto this site. There is so much support here. A lifestyle change is not easy. Take it day by day and try your best to do what you can to keep active. Cheer's to a healthier life for all!

Welcome to MFP! You are taking a huge step by joining! There is so much support here. I could not have lost the weight I did without MFP. It is more than a calorie and cardio tracker. MFP helps us all make that lifestyle change to reach the goals we have set. Good luck on your journey! You may friend me if you'd like.

Birthdays are hard. You want to make everything that the birthday person enjoys and that family expects. I try to drink water before and during to keep my tummy filled and make an effort to not snack too much during festivities except on fresh fruit and vegi snacks. But for my meal plate I search out a small plate and do…

Welcome to MFP! You can look on the forums for recipes. I'm a foodie and find it difficult at times to say no to rich foods. But, finally decided I would not have to say no if I prepared myself by getting in cardio beforehand if I know I'm eating out. Avoiding fast food is a big rule for me. I have found that purchasing a…

Sounds like you have been through hell and back. I'm so sorry and feel so bad for how you got to this place. ON the good side, you are taking the steps to get back into shape and better health. Steroids (prednisone) is a wonder drug! But it also has it's horrid side effects. I gained 20 lbs in one month alone when I was…

It all depends on your age and your particular skin type. Seeing that you are only 19 years old I imagine you skin is still fairly resilient and should spring back to shape, hugging your body as you lose. Folks who lose a massive amount of weight can see the issue because their skin may have been stretched out for a long…

Two things... First - Congrats on taking the first step to taking care of yourself and controlling your weight. Having Celiac will take care of a whole lot of the high calorie carb intake. Be sure to take out added sugar from your diet (no more sodas and sweets) and eating lots of fresh veggies and fruit. Second - I hurts…

To all in the midwest, north and east suffering through winter storms, I wish you dry feet and the warmth from loved ones. We are spoiled here in the San Francisco bay area with our temperate climate. May you not suffer too much, hopefully get to enjoy yourself indoors and the snowy outdoors a little bit when the storms…

Welcome! MFP helped me reach and surpass my goals. You are in the right place to get the help and motivation you need. I found that adding in massive amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables paired with good water intake is key. Good luck on your journey. There are lots of recipes and information in the forums. Take a look...

Thats great! You are a motivation to the rest of us still on a binge. I will be throwing out the rest of the sweets today and buying more vegis and fruit again. Tomorrow morning I go on a long needed walk for my cardio. Keep up the good work!

Hang in there! Try changing up your workouts and drink lots of water. The pills don't work. Are you eating a lot of natural fiber via fresh vegetables and fruit? Have you been measuring yourself? Muscle is leaner but heavier than fat. You may be slimming and not aware of the changes. Don't judge by the scale alone.

I love them and miss having them with my tea. I grew up enjoying the plain ones with my tea. I've had to cut out all caffeine for medical reasons and they don't taste quite the same with my herbal tea. It's just not satisfying with out an english tea with milk. That's just my personal preference. BTW... I'm a firm believer…

I get weight lose, Groupon and Levis so far today... I've been shopping online al lot since November and the weight loss ads are because I'm on MFP everyday.

OMG, I love Malto Meal. I always forget I have it in my pantry. Time to put it up front by my Kashi Go Lean cereal, which happens to be my quick go to, in the morning. Sometimes I use yogurt instead of milk in my cereal.

I struggled getting back on track after the holidays. I gained 4 lbs and have already lost 3 of those. Don't let the blahs get you down. You had it in you to get as far as you did. Reach down deep and find it again. Walk it out girl. Every little bit helps. I will carry you in my thoughts as I go for my walk today. I'm…

LIbrary may have The Flirty Girl Fitness video and your boyfriend may like the lap dance aspect or may even get a stripper pole for you:laugh: :noway: jk... But seriously there are a lot of fitnesss vids at the public library. I like the swimming and kickball suggestions from others. Good luck.

Incredible! Very noticeable change. Keep up the good work. Making it a lifestyle change, I believe, is the trick. Dieting alone never works to maintain the weight loss. You are an inspiration.

Welcome to MFP! Take it one day at a time. Try to count all your calories and cardio as soon as you can so you don't miss anything. Every effort you make will bring you closer to your goals. Be patient and you will see the fruits of your labor down the road.

All the small victories add up and get you to your goals. You are an inspiration to me. It's taken me a year to lose 25. Which is a lot for me. I've finally changed my eating habits and can honestly say I do not feel like I'm starving any longer. I only wish I could do the 30 day shred. Many things irritate my Rheumatoid…

Welcome! I never could have made the progress I did over the last year without MFP. Good luck! and Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the support. I am putting on my shoes right now to jump rope before we even head to the city. I realize now that it sounds like I was placing blame on my hubby. It is truly my own responsibility to decide how much I eat or drink and whether I eat any of the dessert. Especially if I know how many calories I have…

Welcome to MFP. This site has been such great support for me. I had no idea how much I was actually eating. I'm so much healthier today than when I started. I thought 15 lbs was going to be the most I could lose but I've surpassed that with out trying once it became natural to log my calories cut out most of the sugar in…

Wow... only 12 lbs? It made such a remarkable difference. You are clearly doing the right things. Keep looking at these pictures as well as newer ones along the way to keep motivated! Great job! WTG...

Welcome! This site has been a key piece in my journey to the new thinner me. I don't think I could have made it without MFP and it's supportive members. I originally thought 15lbs was going to be enough and here I am a year later with 25 lbs behind me. You can reach any goal you set. We are all here to help you along the…

I'm the crazy mad cook who caters to all my meat eating and vegetarian guests. I'm not counting that day because I think it will be impossible. I need to taste along the way to make sure everything is to my standards and that's too hard to figure out calories for. The meal has taken on a life of its own. I started with a…
