Fingers crossed! I'm just getting over a miscarriage myself and already nervous about next time around and I'm not even trying again yet! It's one of those things that will just haunt you I think, unfortunately. You can't ever unfeel the feelings and anxieties you felt after a loss. But that doesn't mean history will…

Sadly I need to say good bye to this board. I miscarried on Monday. I started having some spotting last Friday and it stopped but then bleeding started Sunday night and was full blown by Monday. I had an ultrasound that showed I was carrying 2 but one was a blighted ovum and that's what caused the second pregnancy to fail.…

I hear ya! I had a major meltdown last week for this very reason. My doctor told me I only needed to gain about 10lbs the entire pregnancy so I'm trying REALLY hard to not gain until 3rd trimester. I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant and no gain so far.

Have my first doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I always dread the first one because I'm scared he's going to tell me I'm not actually pregnant, just making it up in my head. Crazy, I know!

I just found out I'm pregnant with my 3rd. I'm 31 and my other two are 8 and 6. This baby is due mid January. I'm hoping for a healthier pregnancy this time around than previous times and to minimize my weight gain. My game plan has been to stick with most of the exercises I do now. I am pretty low impact since I have knee…

If you've been active and exercising before you got pregnant, you can continue to do so throughout your pregnancy with a few restrictions. There are certain weight lifting and aerobics you shouldn't do while pregnant but a lot of exercises have modifications for pregnant women. Now is not the time to start exercising…

I have an epicure steamer that I use. It goes in the microwave. You can cook your whole meal in there in under 10 min! It's great! Seasonings I either do nothing and then dip it in a little ketchup or use Epicure's Lemon Dilly. I prefer haddock but sometimes eat salmon too. Maple salmon curry is delicious but not so light…

Thanks! I'm toying with the idea of signing up for a 5k in May but I want to see how I progress over the next few weeks first and if I don't feel ready, I'll sign up for one in July :)
