I switched from pre mixed drinks to having my spirits with soda water. Bugger all cals in comparison to pre-mixed cans. And yeah, I usually do a bit more physically on the weekend to make up for it.

Just ride it out and try to rest. I have just stopped taking the pill and have had horrendous headaches for the last week. Finally starting to come good now thankfully. It's just like a bad hangover, just gotta push through it and let it work itself out of your system.

My good friend broke her back in a car accident a few years ago - and she does 90% of her workouts in the pool now. Aqua aerobics, swimming and running in water. She can use the seated bikes (the ones where your legs are in front of you rather than under you) without too much drama. Good luck!
