Thanks for all the feedback, everyone! I went to the running store and got fitted for some shoes, just like you all recommended! My feet are essentially flat (yikes!) so they set me up with some Aasics with a lot of arch support. I went for my first short run in them today and it made SUCH a difference! Thanks for your…

I've had good luck with spinach in my fruit smoothies! You can't really taste it as long as you don't go overboard and if you put a few dark berries in along with it you won't have a gross colored smoothie! I'll have to try this recipe!

I love to see new people on my news feed and would love to give more support! Anyone can feel free to add me :)

I'm 24 and would also love some new friends on here! Please feel free to add me!

That's a great attitude to have! Sometimes it takes a minor setback to kick yourself back into gear! Get to it, girl!

Well, I went from simply falling behind to completely falling off the wagon. :( I'm pretty disappointed in myself, but starting tonight I'm going to do everything I can to get back on track, starting with repeating all of week 3 and then moving on to week 4. I'm SO proud of all you who finished and I'm looking forward to…

Jessica-- Don't feel bad about the plank stuff. As you can tell from this thread, we ALL hated that stuff! I did level 2 for 6 days and still could not quite finish two minutes of plank cardio. I'd get up and start doing jumping jacks when I couldn't take anymore. Like Jillian says, the important thing is to keep moving!…

Hey everyone! I let a busy week get away from me and haven't started week three yet :( I'll start it tomorrow, which means I'll finish the program 4-6 days after everyone who started (and kept up!) since the 4th. What's weird is that after not exercising in three days, going out to eat daily, and trying new beers and wines…

I took a surprise day off today, but I'm just going to call this my rest day instead of Thursdays like I normally do and roll with it. I bought some real weights today, so I'm expecting my arms to be feelin' the burn with Jillian tomorrow! Keep it up everyone! I think I'm going to take my measurements on Monday morning and…

I have the same complaint about the cardio sequence with the plank jacks and mountain climbers. My shoulders start to burn about as bad as my quads and I have to stop. It's the same reason I have a hard time with yoga routines with a lot of downward dog poses! I'm hoping it gets better as the week goes on, too! The…

I'm still rockin' it out! I did L1D5 today and I can feel myself getting stronger... But that doesn't mean it isn't still tough! I'm actually a little scared to jump into level two on Monday. I have a feeling it's going to kick my butt 10x more than level one did! @workit -- Welcome to the group! Feel free to add me if you…

The running man totally kills me, too! I need to buy hand weights... I've been using two heavy cans of soup, haha! I've done three days and I'm going to take a rest day from the workout tomorrow. I go canoeing or paddle=boating and generally walk upwards of 5 miles every Thursday, so it will be a productive "rest day"!…

My goal is to do it until I think I trust myself to keep portions in mind and choose healthy foods. If I feel myself slipping, I'll start counting again until I get back in the habit.

I started Ripped in 30 today, too! I wanted to do 30DS first, but I found Ripped in 30 on the internet and I decided I would buy 30DS as a reward for myself when I finish Ripped in 30! I just took my measurements a few days ago, so I'm going to use those numbers to start! Looking forward to seeing results!

Don't be too hard on yourself! I was doing the 100 pushup challenge and I think I only narrowly averted a total elbow and shoulder disaster! I was pushing myself pretty hard and in week three I started showing signs of tendonitis. Good form is key and it's okay not to progress quite as fast as the program suggests!

Thanks for all the ideas, guys! I think it's a combination of a lot of what you've all mentioned. I'm only doing pushups 3 days a week right now, so I don't think it's that they need rest. The pain seems most acute while I'm doing the pushups and fades away within about 20 minutes, so my guess is it's primarily about bad…

I eat omelettes all the time, too! It seems like my omelettes often end up so full of veggies I can't fold them in half! My typical omelette has tomatoes, green peppers, onion, spinach and mushrooms. If I'm extra hungry I add a slice of pepper-jack cheese and a little turkey.

Same here. A lot of what I cook makes more than one serving and there's no one else around to finish it so I end up eating it for another day or two. I'm also a creature of habit; eating the same thing for breakfast every day makes me feel like I've started the day right and I know I can get it eaten before I have to rush…
