I think we could use a few more details if you would like some help. Age, height, current weight? Can you open your food diary so we can see what your diet looks like? What kind of workouts are you doing/ how long?

To add weight while walking/running, wear a weighted vest. Don't kill your joints with ankle/hand weights!

I don't know what you specifically mean. But, if you mean, avoiding grains, just grill some meat and steam/roast veggies. Vary the meat, vary the veggies, you can easily make a different dinner every day of the week.

I truly do not think this is a gimmick diet. Check out all the recent video post submissions to www.marksdailyapple.com. So many people reaping the benefits of the primal lifestyle. I am not 100% primal but I am following it about 75% of the time. I feel better than ever.

I do not agree with statements you have made. The main thing I want to dispute is that "excess" protein will not turn directly into fat. I'll just post a link to my source rather than paste it here. The comments are very informative as well. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/dietary-protein/

I'll need new clothes. I'm actually setting aside money for this very reason right now.

Treat this journey as a long, slow battle march. Some days, there will obstacles and events that prevent you from moving forward. But if you endeavor to make some progress every day, even if it's "inches" in the grand scheme, it's a move ahead and not backward.

I bought a couple pair of $10 jeans from the Dollar General to get me through a transition period. I'm not ready to buy a lot of new clothes yet but I knew it was time to get a couple of things when my 6 yo niece commented on my big pants!

It's probably just normal weight fluctuation.

Taken straight out of the Crossfit playbook. I like it! If you can't do body weight deadlifts, pick a weight that is challenging for 10 reps. It's all about scaling and accommodating your abilities, not pushing yourself into injuries.

CrossFit I follow the "main site" www.crossfit.com 3 days of WODs (workout of the day) / 1 day rest Often I will skip a Sunday WOD to go bike riding though.
-
Yes you can keep strength training while pregnant. The ladies involved with www.crossfitmom.com do it every day.

I am personally not sure it's worth it. Maybe if I was hardcore training for a particular event like racing on foot or bike or something. A lot of what I do for exercise (Crossfit) is not really measurable by HRMs, either. My approach to exercise is also a bit different from what I feel a lot of people on MFP. I exercise…

You can take a banana, cut it up into 3 or 4 pieces, freeze it, then run it through a food processor until its the consistency of ice cream. A sprinkle of cinnamon or some chocolate chips would be icing on the cake.
-
The healthier you are, the better your body is able to cool itself by sweating.
-
Should be fine. The default % of protein on MFP is actually pretty low especially for someone who is exercising.

I could have posted this myself =)

I realized recently that this (weight loss) journey has been going on for nearly 1/3 of my life. I was 21 and 206 pounds and I managed to lose 50 -- and put 25 back on. I'm 30 now, and I think I have a better perspective and better understanding now and this is the last time I will be on a weight loss adventure. I have…

Pick up those dumbbells! Stay away from the Bowflex! I have a few resources to point you to. Websites: first and foremost -- stumptuous.com Specifically, take a look at the Training category: http://www.stumptuous.com/category/training -Don't Fear the Free Weights: http://www.stumptuous.com/dont-fear-the-free-weights…

I know it hasn't just melted off as quickly as you'd like, but 25 pounds is excellent progress. You should be very proud of your hard work.

Honestly, I don't know what my ultimate goal weight is. I know that I have been a lower weight than I am currently (about 10-12 pounds less). And no, this wasn't my "high school weight". I know that at that weight, I still had more to lose, so I picked a weight a little less than that as my goal. When I get to that goal, I…

Brussel sprouts I roasted them w/ oil, salt, and pepper, and found I quite liked them prepared that way.

Most suggest no more than once a week. Pick a day and time and stick to it. Usually just in the morning after waking, and going to the bathroom, and before getting dressed. That way it's a more stable reflection of your progress. Some weigh every day just to see how their weight fluctuates. There are some who feel this is…

45 pounds is awesome!! I bet your health has already improved a bunch since undergoing this journey in May. Welcome to MFP. Keep up the good work!

Well, honey is pretty much sugars. I am not sure how it'd become "low cal" without modifying it to be something that isn't honey.

Great traveling snack! just about every gas station sells beek jerky and whole nuts. Many offer the non-salted nuts, too. It's a go-to when I'm on the road and haven't packed a cooler of my own snacks.

The key is always diet. I don't treat exercise as a weight loss tool. I treat exercise as a "get healthy" tool. When it comes to weight loss, it really does boil down to a simple equation: calories out > calories in. While it is nice to know you can be a little less strict when you're exercising, coming to understand "food…

I think if you want pure protein, Muscle Milk is not the best option. However, it sounds like for the OP's purpose, the additional carbs, fat, and nutrients would be good for their needs. Good point, though, on how we should all carefully look at labels to make sure we know what we're getting.
