i really like the sweetened vanilla flavored almond milk -- i can drink it straight from the jug! i haven't tried cooking with it, i just put it in smoothies and cereal, but i like it a lot more than cow's milk. it's a little sweet for most cereals (especially those horribly delicious frosted things) so sometime's i'll use…

i have eight tattoos, five of them are on areas where i've gained and lost weight (calves, thigh, hip). they haven't been distorted or warped by weight gain or loss, though they seem to "move" a little bit. the tattoos themselves seem to stay the same size, but since the flesh around has gotten smaller, the tattoos seem…

i lost underboob but not so much regular boob. i was a 36dd and now i'm a 32ddd/34dd depending on the bra. those b cup bras come in so many cute styles though :(

i did it as a first timer who never ever ever used weights or anything before. it was a little intense and i definitely had to modify a few moves, but it felt soooo good once i completed the workout. that said, i was only about 30lbs overweight when i tried it. i imagine it might be difficult for someone who is extremely…

i did it last summer and logged it as 20 minutes of circuit training, but i have no idea how accurate that was. it said i burned something like 200-250 calories per workout. the best way to know how much you're burning is to get a heart rate monitor, but i have yet to do that.

ugh, i was at a water park a few weeks ago and a woman with gigantic titties was walking around in a soaked tank top with no bra at all. she was pretty chunky, too, so it wasn't like a wet t-shirt contest winner hottie, it was like seeing your friend's mom after she had too many margaritas ... anyway ... i've got an ample…

i hate that function. if it was true, i would've met my goal weight MONTHS ago.

i'm a little short for this (4'11). i lost 30 but gained back 5 :( hoping to lose another 20 or so. good luck everybody!
-
whaaaat? could you use seltzer or sparkling water instead of soda?

i'm glad you posted this rant! one time, i was offered some sort of vegan "bacon" and i thought i may as well give it a try. if any of you are ever offered a similar product, just SAY NO. it was like eating dried up clay. i don't mind turkey bacon, but i also didn't know it was more processed than piggie bacon. i also…

i'm 4'11. already lost almost 30lbs (started at almost 150lbs, hovering around 120-123lbs now). hoping to lose another 10-15lbs and tone up. feel free to add me!

everybody looks so amazing!! my stats: height: 4'11 HW: 148lbs LW: 97lbs CW: 122lbs GW: 100-110lbs this is my before and during ... i've since put on a little bit of weight but i am determined to lose it again! there are a lot more pictures in my profile. <img…

you look amazing! the "new you" looks much younger. i love the orange blouse and pink pants by the way!

yeah, i had some pizza and an iced coffee, i must be some fat slovenly idiot! i must be a total dumbass that doesn't know that eating mcdonald's is bad! i snack here and there, because if i tried to avoid "bad" food entirely, i'd go bonkers and wind up eating the entire pizza -- and i'm SURE that i'm not the only person…

yeah ... if i could gain height, i wouldn't need to lose weight. womp womp!

i'm definitely going to stop eating back all those calories. MFP says i burn something like 80-100 calories from 30 minutes of walking/jogging, but the treadmill at the gym tells me something ridiculous like 250-300 calories. i'm going to assume that i burn half of whatever MFP says, and i'm going to ignore the gym…

ooh, staci's story is inspiring. thanks!

i'm actually on week 3 of couch to 5k and i am loving it so far! i used to run distance track when i was in high school, and i always felt so good after a nice run. i am hoping to get back to that again, but ten years of drinking and drugging have slowed me down. i am trying to clean up *every* aspect of my life now.

i did get a lot of useful information regarding my eating habits, but i am still at a total loss when it comes to exercise because everyone says something different. i guess it's because different things work for different people, and that makes perfect sense to me. i just need to find what "works" for me, and i honestly…

yes, very stressed and being home all day is the worst because i'm an emotional eater, and i eat when i'm bored. it took me 6 months to lose 30 pounds, and since then i've just been putting weight back on and i haven't really changed my habits that much. so confusing.
-
THIS is why i'm confused. some people are telling me to increase the weight/intensity and decrease the reps, other people are telling me the opposite. i get the same information when i look online. i try to do compound movements when i exercise -- i'm not just standing there working one arm at a time -- i'm squatting while…

oh, there is. there's cake flavored vodka! that plus low cal strawberry lemonade tastes just as good a huge piece of strawberry cheesecake ... but that's neither here nor there. my entire life, i've just thought about "now" and not the future. i am trying to think more about the future than what i want at any given moment.…

it's like a drug almost :( i have to remember that the immediate satisfaction of the food is what is deterring me from whatever sort of satisfaction i'll get when i have the body i want.

next question ... is there a healthy substitute for delicious crunchy chicken skin? (ugh, just typing that out makes me feel gross. i'm obviously not a vegetarian but thinking about eating SKIN just seems so disgusting ... but it tastes so good.)
-
you look great! i'm going to try this. i joined a gym three months ago and i continued eating the same net amount of calories from before i joined the gym. i've been wondering why the scale isn't going down -- it's actually gone up :(
-
this might be a silly question ... but what part of the chicken is considered "lean"? is it all "lean" as long as the skin is removed and it's grilled or baked instead of fried?
-
are you sure it's hunger pains and not side stitches? i get those mixed up frequently, and any time any part of my torso is in pain, i assume it's somehow related to food (too much, not enough, wrong type, etc). and to the man and wife, you sound like an excellent fitness team! my boyfriend is way taller than me and is a…

i take a 20oz bottle and refill it once or twice while at the gym. not sure if this is TMI, but sometimes i'll pee 2-3 times when i'm at the gym for an hour. and i sweat like a beast when i do cardio, so i think i'm getting enough water but i could be wrong. a lot of the time i eat ice because if i drink the water too…

thanks so much everyone for your tips and support. i mostly use MFP from my phone and i didn't realize until today that there's a section in there that tracks sodium. it's separate from the diary area so i guess that's why i wasn't paying attention to it. now that i know it's there, i will definitely keep an eye on it,…

but but but ... MATH?!?!?! i will try this also. so many good tips today! just what i was hoping for. thanks so much!
