  • Ah- I will look into this. I don't eat very much fruit, I don't have much of a sweet tooth so one piece a day is usually more than enough. Lucky for me, I never liked grains that much to begin with :) Can you suggest any particular source for reading up on carbs vs. grains?
  • One thing you could try is steamed kale and spinach. Steaming them makes more iron available to your body, and greens actually have about as much calcium as they do iron (about 15% DV per serving).
  • Does anybody actually just drink the coconut milk? I've never liked cow's milk. I started drinking soy milk in college, but still only in moderation. I'm finding on the whole paleo plan, calcium is the one nutrient I'm just not quite consuming enough of.
  • You don't say! I've been working on a recipe for cauliflower pizza "crust" and I think I'm getting close. I found several paleo crust recipes that relied only on almond or coconut meal, and also some that used cauliflower and egg. I'm trying to merge the two by using the cauliflower and the flour, and also some flax seed…
