  • This is what I think. Our governments are always complaining about obesity yet they make fast food and unhealthy food easily accessible and cheaper. Okay, so in UK we're brining in VAT on "HOT" food but that still leaves a lot of unhealthy options cheaper to buy. Trying to get meat into your diet these days is ridiculous.…
  • Usually old Stella, Carlsberg or Becks... Haven't really drank many of the others apart from when I was maybe a little too drunk to remember the taste :S

  • I just finished my first week. It's tough but amazing!
  • You can check out myprotein.com they have a variety of protein formulas for good prices. You usually take 25g with milk or water after a workout but I have one pre-workout too but usually half just to get protein to my muscles as I usually workout in the morning. I personally use Impact Whey Protein as it had the best…
  • I use a Polar FT4, I'm not sure about everyone else but it does what I need. Counts calories burned and alerts you when you're above your chosen heart rate. It's about $65 or £50ish.
  • I have this tomorrow, had recovery today. I was worried about doing Pure Cardio at the start but I'm totally ready for it now after a good stretch day.
  • Oh no, shouldn't have looked at this. That's what I have tomorrow...
  • We're going in July for a week but will probably go up randomly over the summer. It's the only decent beach town near us so we go a lot when it's nice! Hopefully we'll have a sunny summer!
  • Mine is definitely the beach this summer. Got a few trips planned with my friends and boyfriend and Skegness is one of those! Might spot you walking around looking amazing with your boyfriend carrying millions of bags of clothes! :P
  • Switch Kicks - 70 (140 total) Power Jacks - 35 Power Knees - 69 Power Jumps - 27 Globe Jumps - 6 Suicide Jumps - 11 Push-up Jacks - 15 Low Plank Oblique - 47 So that was just the fit test? Plyo tomorrow sounds like hell! :P
  • I'm starting April 2nd just to be different :P Well, it's just because that's the Monday and I'd get confused if I started on a different day! Best of luck everyone!
  • I'm starting on Monday, can't wait! Was hoping other people would be starting around that time too. Best of luck!
  • I plan on starting a week on Monday, cannot wait even though it look super tough! I'd love to see other people suffering from my friends, haha. Best of luck!
  • Doubt it would work for me, unless it could make a hologram of a horde of zombies running behind me.
  • Most people find it easier. The cardio is a little tough but the strength is a lot easier.
  • Referring to food I'm pretty sure they're the same thing.
  • I haven't started it yet but I'd love to add more people who are doing it now and in the future. Can't wait to get started.
  • If it's your DVD then I wouldn't worry about missing bits of each workout. I get that people want to see results as quickly as possible but it makes me laugh that some people panic because they miss a day or whatever like they only have the 90 days to get fit. Just do the best you can, if you don't have the results by the…
  • I'm using Amazon because I have some vouchers to use to take money off. The only problem is, I think the price is exactly the same as the beachbody site. Have you looked into finding a beachbody coach? I'm pretty sure you can purchase the DVDs from them at a discounted price, just make sure you find a good coach if you go…
  • To me that doesn't sound right, I'd have thought you'd burn at least 300 calories from the Insanity workouts, even if you were super fit. What HRM do you use?
  • Level 2 was hell on earth. Thankfully I have some of her other DVDs I've substituted in until I was due to start level 3. I'd rather do 40 minutes of her Banish Fat DVD which is mostly cardio than go through level 2 again!
  • I'm planning on starting Insanity at the end of this month/start of April so I'll definitely give you some motivation when you start. My stats aren't too different based on weight and height. 145lbs/5'8".
  • They're a lot more accurate then MFP. I purchased a Polar FT4 after reading people raving about it on here and saw it on offer. I've found I've been burning nearly 100 more calories than what MFP says. I'd totally invest in a HRM since it takes into account your heart rate as well as age/sex/weight/height. Although they're…
  • I'd take at least one day of recovery a week. She recommends you do rest on the program, she didn't expect people to do the whole 30 days in a row :)
  • Like everyone else who has posted, I have clicky knees too. Sometimes it sounds like something snaps but it doesn't hurt. My family has a history of knee problems so I guess that's what I have. So times some clicks in my upper leg/hip too when I do certain movements.
  • I'd personally just stick with the schedule. If you haven't got the results you want by the end of it then go for round 2. I plan on starting it by the end of March and currently plan to do at least two rounds of it for the summer. So yeah, I'd do the recovery week especially since you did a lot of activity as that allows…
  • I'm doing 30DS and 6 week six pack but not always on the same days. I normally do 30DS 4 or 5 times a week and 6 week 6 pack twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays. When I did level 1 I did the Shred in the morning and 6w6p in the afternoon if I had time and felt up to it.
  • Only just seen this thread. Great idea. These last few pounds are a pain to get off! MFP Name: MissSpuggz Real Name: Samantha Goal Weight for 03/31/2012: 141 Weigh In Dates: Thursday 3/1 - 146.6 Monday 3/5 - 146.4 Monday 3/12 Monday 3/19 Monday 3/26 Saturday 3/31
  • The BUMP is just to get the topic back up the page so more people can see it :) I'm also from the UK. Lincolnshire. I'm 18 and trying to lose those last 10 or so stubborn pounds. Currently suffering at the hands of Jillian Michaels before I plan to move onto Insanity at the end of the month. Feel free to send me a request…
  • Not feeling pain in your muscles doesn't mean it's not working. I haven't had pain the day after for the past week but that's the time I've seen the most change. The more your muscles develop, the less they'll hurt after a workout. Especially if you're taking in enough water and protein as well as plenty of sleep as…
