sorry buddy but you are wrong... if you eat 5 small meals during the day, spread it out every 3 hours, it regulates your sugar levels and speeds up your metabolism
-
definitely the worst idea ever..... when you fast your insulin levels spike, when you finally eat again everything you eat will get stored as fat... also in those fasting days how are you going to get protein for muscles? carbohydrates for energy? nutrients and vitamins for your immune system? and even 1200 calories is not…

also... if you go to GNC, I highly recommend getting these vitamins... they are called Mega ultra women (Energy and Metabolism) vitamins.... and also buy L-carnitine 500.... it is the only healthy weight loss supplement... usually when you exercise you use carbohydrates for energy first, well when you take two of these 45…

Doing cardio for 45 minutes does not really speed up your metabolism...... if you want to lose weight more efficiently and have your metabolism boosted 9 X as much as steady state cardio and in half the time, then you should do HIIT training... it is high intensity interval training.... you warm up for 5 minutes, then go…

You need to eat complex catbs, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains... complex carbs are slow dissolving and help regulate blood sugar and prevent insulin spikes. Carbohydrates is what also gives your body the energy to function every day, helps your brain, and also helps break down fats and helps bring protein into the…

I think it is a good way to stay in your target heart rate, but it definitely overestimates your calories burned by far and as a result you don't work as hard..... some people say they burn 1,600 calories in an hour and a half, doing half strength training, no way that is possible your heart would explode

that is correct don't stay on it... Dr Atkins died from his own diet lol

Not all fats and carbs are created as equal..... it is ok to eat 50% of complex carbohydrates which are also used for weight loss because of their high fiber and nutrient content, and if you eat monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats... those are fat burners that gets rid of saturated fats..... High protein diets do not…
-
I highly suggest that you look into eating GOJI berries..... they have more amino acids than any other plant source... they have 18 amino acids and there is 20 total.... and also they have 90 antioxidants in the, probably the healthiest food on the planet and super tasty

An excess of any macronutrient will get converted to fat... I think I saw someone say that if you ate too much protein it wouldn't get stored as fat, that is false
-
If you are working out very intensely you can bump it up to the 30- 35% range, but if you rae working out regularly I would keep it in the 20-30% range... Protein is used for rebuilding muscle and if you are not working out that hard you do not need any more than 20-30%.... if you do eat more you will get excess nitrogen…

Post-Workout Carbs What's The Best Choice? As many of you know, there are really only two times of the day to take in simple carbohydrates: first thing in the morning and after your workout. First thing in the morning because you are coming off a "fast" - which is how ever long you slept the night before. So, at that time…

lol I am sorry you don't have any education... and having a degree in exercise science and nutrition is not bro science as you would call it... sorry you are a bro with no education, maybe since you do not know much about nutrition you should stay out of these forums

bananas are awesome!! Especially for a pre-workout meal to give you energy while you work out, since it is a simple carb and can give you instant energy, and also afterwards with a protein shake to restore the glycogen stores in your muscles to give your muscles the energy to perform again the next day.... since it is fast…

what are your qualifications? to be saying that.... obviously you do not know science

ok some people don't like what I said... lol but good for you!! Here are some reasons why you should not INTERMITTENTFAST A Supplecity site visitor asked about "intermittent fasting," after having read about its many wonders on various blogs and postings written by people with credentials completely unrelated to diet and…

I don't really agree with this because when you fast you spike your insulin levels and when you finally eat because of the high insulin levels everything you eat gets stored as fat in the body.... not a good idea
