I have the same experience with my WW scale and agree it is very sensitive to floor placement.

I second that. I kept going over on protein all the time. MFP's preset allocation is heavily weighted to carbs. I personally changed it to 40/30/30. If you search the topics on the message boards you'll see lots of posts about this.

Yes, I recognize that in and of itself that is not a balanced meal, but that does raise the question of whether having balance in a single meal, in and of itself, is important or is it more the overall daily consumption and balance.

Generally I just try to guesstimate with what is in the database. A lot of times I will look at what is there and if it's an entry from a well known restaurant I will go to their website and read their menu online to see if the description sounds like what I just ate. I think there are plenty of healthier snack options out there. Recently I discovered that my kids really like Laughing Cow cheese on reduced fat Wheat Thins. They think it's "fun" to spread the cheese on the crackers. I see no problem in teaching them healthy habits.

I can never figure out the conversions either but if you go to any internet search engine you will quickly find many websites that convert from English to metric, cups to ounces, etc.
