Well, that should be doable! Assuming your body has recovered from the whole childbirth thing. Maybe you want to talk to someone else on that one! lol

Four pounds a week? Pretty aggressive, but good luck!
-
I second that "wow". Amazing!

I feel your pain since my own efforts to begin jogging and ultimately run a 5k are hampered by some serious shin issues. The mind and lungs are willing, now damn it legs, get on board! You may not be able to keep up with your shred group, but there are always people on here looking to start something every week. Can you do…

Your body would probably benefit from the rest.

You had the strength to step away from an abusive marriage. That took a lot. Your son also needs a healthy mom, and a happy one for that matter. If you get your strength through him, think that one over.

Just stay with it! You may just be retaining water. Don't be a slave to your scale. And now, if only I could take my own advice!
-
Congrats on your success so far! Keep it up!
-
I believe that is correct

Have you rebooted your phone recently i.e. shut it down completely and back on? I have random issues like that and this is what their tech support told me to do (gee, reboot, ya think?!).

Hi and welcome to the site!

Hey, you have a whole year. What's my goal.... fit by 50??? Besides, just remember that mentally you can still act like you are in your 20's.
-
Good luck. Make friends and they will help you stay motivated, or when necessary ride you *kitten* like Seattle Slew

Although I don't practice this (and should) maybe you should take measurements as well as weight? Good luck, hang in there, will be happy when we can stop talking everyone's period. lol
-
Wait I'm confused. That's 1g per pound for your current weight or your goal weight? Either way, that would put me WAY over what MFP recommends (I think my daily goal per their standard calculation is 72g). I must be screwing something up here.

Turning 40 wasn't that bad. I turn 41 next month. Then I'm "in my forties." I can just feel the wind in my hair as my wheelchair steadily picks up speed downhill!

Never had any luck with homemade fries, but I have found that baking the Ore-Ida waffle cut fries... they actually turn out pretty decent.

I posted the exact same question not long ago, since I have had similar experience. Most of the people that responded said they didn't think going over occasionally in that ballpark (11g) was a big deal. I admit I tend to watch calories and fat the most.
-
Hard to answer without more specifics. You might be eating too much fat or carbs in proportion, even if within the goals. Are you exercising as well? I generally find diet alone will never work.

Thanks for all of your input!

Great topic. Can I just ask when women started regularly using their bra as storage? Last night I was at the gym and at least 3 women had their phone/ipod sticking up out of their sports bra.

I'm with you. I first joined a couple years ago, had some good results, got complacent, and felt the backslide (or is that backside lol). It really helps to stay in contact on this site to keep coming back and stay motivated.

Strangely, I don't think the iPhone app was down. Actually, what's strange is that I would know.

I am not familiar with Ezekiel. Is it common in most grocery chains or is it a specialty item?
-
Even though I only log them once a week, on the same day, I admit I weigh myself daily and really wish I didn't! I agree with the first post, if you do it daily you will see a lot of fluctuations.

Welcome and good luck!
