The front wheel and frame were locked to a pipe. This was in my underground parking garage which is supposed to be private as it is!

Day 2 in the books. Now for what I think is the "tough" night of the week. I normally have my kids for a few hours tonight, which would make it easy not to drink, but they are out of town. I lifted yesterday so this is pretty much a cardio day. I really want to go for a bike ride but did I mention that some f****r stole…

Three is probably what I am shooting for. My kids are staying with my parents all week and my boss is also gone, so that's not helping me fight urges.
-
I completely agree. I changed my goals on here to 40/30/30.
-
Well, this is my first dry night in recent memory. We'll see how long the streak lasts, but it's a start!
-
I have the same one.

He's not insane

You look great. They are boys, not men.

Awesome! I have to think that much like exercising, abstaining starts to pick up its own momentum the longer you go. Of course, I can't speak from experience. Great job to everyone who has made it this far this week! Just make it through tonight then it's party time!

I have the same scale and the same issue. In fact, there was another topic posted about this a little while back. The theory we all came up with is that you have to step on and off a couple times to let it calibrate itself. This is especially true if you move it around a lot instead of keeping it in one place.

I worked as a lifegurard for years (in my young and thin days). Poop in the pool and used tampons on the floor were all too common.

Welcome to MFP! How are things in Chicago? I will be there this weekend.

Are you refrigerating your wraps/tortilla's? I wouldn't say mine never go bad, but certainly not that soon. I recently discovered Flatout flatbread wraps. You would have to double check the wheat thing as I know some are all wheat, but the light ones are only 90 calories. Add a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese as a spread for…

Isn't it funny how that works? I've had similar experiences. That's why I think even putting together a few days in a row on the wagon has benefits.
-
Guilty as charged!

Everyone is WAY too focused on my *kitten*! :drinker:

I don't have anything to trade but I agree this is a fantastic idea and wish people did it more regularly.

Been gone for a couple of days. To those of your struggling to make it to tomorrow night, congrats! You're my heroes. Even to those of you feeling guilt because you gave in a day here or there this week, I salute you! I have not gone a single day since sometime last week without. And honestly, I haven't even tried. I need…

I have a Polar FT7 and completely agree with the other posts.
-
Don't eat the calories. This isn't an exact science.
-
Damn, I couldn't find an FT7 for less than $100. But I agree, anything that cheap must come without a chest strap, which means it's not as reliable. If you are on track with your goals, I wonder if you even need one.

F'ING SCALE! That's all I am going to say.

The Eat This Not That article on the best and worst beers for your diet. http://eatthis.menshealth.com/slideshow/slideshow-best-beers Looks like it is based purely on the calorie count. Notice that their "top pick" with MGD 64 has only 2.8% alcohol by volume? Consider that this is what several years ago would be called…

I did the same damn thing. Welcome back!
-
Did I really need to buy the BIG bottle of Crown Royal?!
-
I fell off the wagon so hard last night I think I cracked my skull. That would certainly explain the headache. :ohwell:

Sorry for my absence everyone. I know I mentioned this before, but I am going to start a new message thread called Like Minded Lushes - July 2010. That way everyone can sort of check back in and actually define what their goals are. It will be easier to go back to the first page of that board and find them than read…

You had me at in-laws.
