Count your macros and eat to your macros and you won't cheat.

700-1000 calories is incredibly low. You can cause metabolic damage by eating such a low amount of caloires which will make losing fat incredibly hard.

It isn't going to be the same for everyone. I have very prominent cheekbones and I am bulking (15-16% bf) and I still have very prominent cheek bones. Everyone is different.
