"Shouldn't one of us switch? Or we'll just fly off to Canada" OMG too funny. I have the biggest crush on Ricky Gervais. Comedy is great, and it should always be free speech. I am not offended by anything comedians say because they aren't making fun to hurt anyone. They make observations about the world that we live in, and…

It's def my favorite greek yogurt. I actually go for the 2% one now, fits my macros perfectly for pre/post workout

22...which is suprising. I think that if I took this only 6 months ago it'd be way over 40. Not there yet, but it's nice to feel like I'm moving in the right direction. I tried that "self affirmation" and putting myself in uncomfortable situtations and faked it. Finally in the last few weeks, I've felt people respond to…

Complex carbs don't equal simple carbs. Complex carbs are in fruits and veggies, simple carbs are in processed foods/sweet food. Complex carbs contain other necessary nutrients like fiber, minerals, and vitamins, and cause a relatively low spike in insulin levels. They take longer to digest, keep you fuller for longer, and…

Was lazy and only went out twice last week. Hopefully going to make it 3-4 times this week. Hello Spring!! :flowerforyou:

Long run tomorrow to add some mileage. Good job everybody :)

Have my Rioja waiting for me once I get out of work. Can't wait!

I gained 25 pounds in my final year of college...I wish I had asked this question back then. I would recommend portioning out your food ahead of time, with a lot of low cal veggies. I found that I like the crunch...so I recently replaced chips with carrots and peppers and still get the salt/flavoring from whatever I'm…

I used to do weight training (3x per week) primarily and do 1 day of running and 1 day of spin for basic cardio. Recently, I began training for a marathon, so I'm shifting my focus to running. To be honest, I'm cutting the spin class and going to go down to 1 strength day a week. I'm usually sore for like 3 days post…

I still get sore from my workouts. When your'e starting, take the day off to let your body adjust to the new strain. As it becomes habit, the after workout snoreness should lessen, or you should feel comfortable doing light excercise after. When I do my strength days, I'm sore. I usually just do a run and don't do anymore…

It's my kryptonite. I just ate a whole order of chips and guacamole from chipotle. But I ran today so I do not feel guilty

My goal was to be 180 pounds and to be a size 10. Thankfully since I've been adding weight training I'm almost an 8 at 183 pounds. I've altered my goal to be a solid size 8, so my weight goal is 170-175lbs. My body has the jaws of life on these last 10-15 tho! Anything less I feel would make me look too skinny. I love…

I just signed up for the Marine Corps one as well. I did my first and only half marathon last May, and unfortunately haven't run all winter. I started my training today and have a 22 week calendar set up. I'd love to hear how others have overcome this challenge

April 1st...Let's do this! I also like the measurements idea, so here are mine: 184 lbs 13 inch neck 37 inch waist 42 inch hips

Tears. The character development throughout the season was amazing, it made me fall in love with them. I cannot bear to lose any. On that note, I am kind of bummed the war between the prison and woodbury will have to wait to october

I ran my first half marathon last summer and got burnt out and didn't run all winter. I just signed up for my first full marathon in october so I guess I'll have to start running again soon. Best of luck to everyone in their upcoming races!

I'm just going to make an intuitive guess. I don't know for sure what happens but I think your body gets used to the heat when working out. You're blood vessels expand and constrict to keep blood flowing properly and you open your pores to sweat and cool yourself off. After your workout, you blood slows down, and your body…

Shoulders are hard because it can be due to bone structure, not just fat. I have linebacker shoulders. I lift weights, play tennis/softball, and am learning to box. The shoulders will always be there, but they are proportional once you get the fat off other parts of your body. I used to hate them too, but now when I'm in…

I'm definately in. I just signed up for my first marathon taking place in october and I need to rediscover my love for running!

I eat and drink a lot when on vacation. Probably gone over about 4000 calories in Aruba, thanks to fruity drinks and a visit to a brazillian steakhouse. YUM! On a normal calorie counting day, I've been known to go 1500-2500 over on sporting event days. LAst hockey game I ate 20 chicken wings, mozarella sticks, and drank 94…

Muscles are like wearing black. Makes you look slimmer, and always in style.

It's not a special training or anything, but do day or two a week of sprints in place of distance running. Do 10-15 minutes sprint/walk. When you return to a distance run, your speed should be increased a bit

Alice in Chains is awesome for running, Godsmack is also one of my go-to sound tracks, Enemy, Greed, Whatever, Keep Away, all are good.
