  • Good morning, everyone. Just checking in and catching up from the weekend. Stayed very busy taking advantage of the last nice weather we will have here for an entire week. Did a ton of yard work and some nice walks. The scale was, naturally, a jerk this morning because of it. I know eating was where it should be and am…
  • 4/7 Check-in: Closed all my rings yesterday and feel good about all of my food choices. One day and one choice at a time. Have a beautiful day everyone!
  • Good morning everyone. Happy Wednesday. I finished yesterday on par even with a rocky start mood wise to the morning. I was feeling rather glum - much like the weather but when it broke I got outside for my walk and my entire day changed. I am two weeks back into focus and while I am not entirely sure where I was at the…
  • @tcunbeliever I feel your pain - I have 3 teenage boys at home myself. Conserving food with them around is just impossible. I hope you are able to find your eggs soon!
  • @corinasue1143 thanks for the info! I am glad you have found some relief, the lack of sleep is the worst!
  • Check if for 4/6: Soaked up every bit of sunshine I could. I took two walks outside to close my Move ring. Food was within parameters. Today will be a rain wash out. I have a pseudo gym downstairs with equipment to use - just need to muster some motivation. Hoping everyone has a great day!
  • Good morning everyone and thank you for the kind welcome. Yesterday I spent as much time as possible outside soaking in the sun before the rain moves in today. I went on two short walks around the neighborhood and while not exerting physically, they did wonders for me in every other way. Today the weather will be a wash…
  • Raising hand here. I was diagnosed in 2018. I have spent a lot of time trying to manage it holistically with some success but as another poster mentioned, it does what it wants when it wants. I take supplements to help with inflammation and also did an elimination diet. I have been able to identify that sugars drastically…
  • I'd like to join this group, if that's okay. I am newly back to MFP and trying to gently ease back in to taking care of myself. Here is my general information: 41 years old 5'6" SW: 340.3 CW: 278 (I've been up and down and all around over the last 9 years. My lowest was 172 from SW but they way I did it wasn't sustainable…
  • 4/5: Spent most of the day outside since the weather was nice. Did little odd and end things but my energy is near non-existent so that was the extent of my efforts. I did close my move ring but the overall total will be nothing like yesterday. I know it's part of the cycle when going back low carb so I tomorrow I am going…
  • Good morning! I’m a bit delayed in posting. For 4/2 I closed all my rings, 4/3 was more “active” without exercise as I did a lot of yard work. I did have a spell yesterday where I wanted to eat everything! I was able to eventually get distracted and refocus. I just feel hungry so often, like legitimate hungry. I keep…
  • Day 1 in the books. We had a break from rain today so my son (15) and I took two short walks around the neighborhood. I’m enjoying the time not just for the fresh air and break from the inside but also these nice bits of quality time. Definitely was moving a lot today and closed all 3 rings on my iWatch.
  • I’d like to get in on this. With 5 of us (3 teenagers) all in the house at the same time now, this is a needed physical AND mental challenge. Daily: Improve NEAT/Daily Steps by taking a break from sitting at the computer every hour for 10 minutes as much as possible. If I can’t walk away due to being on a call, I’ll do a…
  • Will there be an April Mindfulness Challenge? I’m newly back and I’d really like to take part.
  • I can sympathize with this...a lot. What I have come to learn/understand/watch for is that binging is usually never about food. Anyone who truly struggles with this problem can attest that there is more going on to trigger an episode than some nutrient deprivation. Living healthy is probably 20% physical and 80% mental.…
  • #3 peaked my curiosity! Have you had any successful encounters?
  • On option is to simply make your own. All you really need is a food processor and peanuts (salt if you wish). Some organic grocery stores will even have machines where you can blend your own too.
  • I have a tattoo, but not of that. I have always wanted another one though, with the sign for aquarius on it!
  • Recently single here too, well, a few months ago anyway. Was the end of a 12 year marriage but in truth, it probably should have ended well before then got married very young). I have been out of the dating scene so long, I am not even sure I know how to do it! I am enjoying this time though and using it to make myself a…
  • I'll get in on this, I need a little fun distraction today :) 1. I am teaching myself (slowly) to play guitar. 2. I love anything and everything to do with the water (aquarian, after all!). 3. I love vintage jewelry.
  • Just joined the group, though I have been on MFP for a long time, though not overly active in the community. I am 33 and for the first time in decades actually learning to live and love life. I just wanted to say hello!
  • Did you follow her recommend diet plan? If not, what did your calories and macros look like?
  • Awesome results Wade! And congrats for finishing (both)! What's your next planned workout? I did Day 1, Week 1 last night and I am actually sore this morning! I didn't feel all that sore doing Shred, even though I had great results with it. Ripped really kicked my tail last night.
  • I finished 30 Day Shred a week ago and am starting RI30 tonight. I am excited! I didn't have my loss in pounds but I did lose a significant number of inches. What sort of schedule are you all following? I know she recommends 5-6 days a week. I was thinking of doing 5 days a week, 1 distance run day, and then a rest…
  • This gave me goosebumps. I love it! Thank you for sharing it!
  • I started the program running outside, but the weather here quickly put an end to that around W3. I had to switch to the treadmill and I have mixed feelings. I feel like I can improve my form and keep a more consistent pace on the treadmill, but I miss the outdoors just for the environment. My fitness center has tv's on…
  • I just finished W5D2 and I was a little intimidated going into it with having the 8 minutes straight of running. It was easier than I imagined. I am hopeful for W5D3..the 20 minute stretch!
