  • I went to Old Navy back in July to get a couple of new shirts, picked up the 2x I have always worn and grabbed an XL just to see and psyched myself up to not be too disappointed if they it didn't fit. Tried it on, left with 5 XL shirts and a new belt because I was tired of poking holes in the one I had.
  • In Public Safety or another field?
  • I may need to increase my font size because I was wondering why *mimes* need fire fighters!
  • Full Time: Public Safety Dispatcher for a University. I work day class so I can be fairly active while still having a desk job. I found the early out (3-11p) shift contributed to what those in the business call dispatcher a--. Part Time: Baseball and Softball umpire Basketball Referee Volunteer Firefighter Usher for an NBA…
  • I have a UA cool gear t-shirt, its really thin and is supposed to keep you warm in the cooler weather. I bought it on clearance a couple of years ago, didn't know how skin tight it is, its kind of like wrapping yourself in saranawrap. I could barely fit into the thing when I got even at a 2x, now, its loose on me. I have a…
  • I have been overweight since birth really, my mother was diabetic and if I went to term I would have been 13 pounds, so it's been a lifelong battle. I have been fighting this for so long, in college I skipped meals and lost a ton of weight but I skipped meals. I get that, at 35 years old the doctor started talking about…
  • I need to take a picture to prove this to myself officially but I noticed the last couple of days that my face is a lot smaller. Seems very weird!
  • Nice job, I'm 15 pounds under the listed weight, as fat male who has never wanted to face the actual number of my weight I like that its wrong in a smaller direction now. I wonder how many people I fooled when it said 285 and I was closer to 340? Yeah.
  • Thank you for saying that! You just described my day. My wife and I are going to visit her grandmother in the nursing home tonight and after the home her grandfather and her mother always go out to dinner and we'll be going with them too. it's a small home town Italian place, I ran most of the items on the menu including…
  • You're welcome. There's are a couple of zucchini soups on Allreciepes that sound pretty good now that I have a few growing in the garden.

  • I often bring leftovers from the night before, it's usually a smaller portion than what dinner was. Try something different in your salads or change up the base. If you eat say Boston lettuce on a regular basis, go with Romaine or something. I love using spinach regularly. Home made soups are good choices. Just my thoughts

  • I have "fat" pictures in front of Slugger too! However as a 6'3 male, I will probably never be your size! Nice work though!
  • Three for me: 1) Umpired a youth baseball tournament in hot and humid conditions. Didn't feel dizzy or physical pain on my knees despite working and running about 7 hours in a day. I did end up with a sore ankle which I have arthritis in, I put on my ankle brace, wore it for a day before I realized I have no pain. Years…
  • Broke a plastic chair at my wife's cousin's graduation. The cousin was away at school and I only met her a few times, I'm sitting in the living room in a suit for the graduation ceremony, and pop, there goes the chair in front of family and the cousin's roomates and families. Yeah Last time was a year and a half ago,…
